  1. Good news, they actually sent a new kit and working just fine, but im actually un-becoming a Lian Li supporter for another reasons
  2. I contacted them on instagram and fb, as well as the lian li support page, but ill try to reach out to them at twitter as well! Thx!
  3. Yesterday i received a Lian Li Bora fan kit that i bought which I always wanted, the installation was easy, and worked just fine all night long yesterday Today i Woke up, turned on my computer and a little bit of smoke started to come out of the PC, then i could smell burned component distinctive smell I immeadiatly turned off the pc, talked to my brother, we turned it on one more time to see where did the smoke came out from, and it came from the ARGB cables on the lian li kit He first tought it was the PSU, but then we noticed the burnde cable on the video i am attaching, and we knew it was only the controller, after this i tried turning it on and it would not turn on, not untill I unplugged the SATA controller, now the fans dont glow of course, but they work fine on the PWM controller I am from Mexico, and im not quite sure if i should return product to Amazon, i already contacted Lian Li but no answer yet, i will try further TAKE THIS AS A WARNING, if you ever had something like this happen to you I hope you could at least turn it off like i did so no other components were harmed So far i am writting this on my PC and it is working just normally, but if you read this and have an advice, ill gladly take it Also, this was not exactly a cheap fan kit just to fail like that and cause a short, maybe it was just a faulty kit and i got unlucky, but come on VID_141621026_232232_616.mp4 2063022542_VID_141611107_213547_549(1).mp4
  4. What Monitors are you Running, i believe as well that it is an adapter issue but im not sure I forgot to Mention, im running a 2700X and a RX 5500XT Sapphire
  5. Hi everyone, how are you doing? Ive been having this issue all the time and im wondering if this is just myself Im currently running 2 Monitors 1 of them is my main display, is a 32 inch LG HDR Monitor, running on DisplayPort, no issues ever, neither did the previous one wich was a Sceptre 27 144hz inch, DisplayPort as well NOW Every time i turn on my computer the second screen is always off, untill i press Windows + P, go to only main display and then, again but for extend This does not happen with restarts, not turning off for a few secs and then turning it back on again My secondary display is a VGA Acer monitor about 19 inches, its using a VGA to display port, the cable is VGA, the graphics card has the adapter
  6. Actually I have tried several stuff, what seemed to be the problems were graphics issues, any fullscreen application would cause a crash Here is my fix. How this information is useful for people. We switched graphics cards, my brother rocks a rx570, I use a 5500xt, when we switched no issues whatsoever, that was my biggest worry, that the graphics card was the problem, but after running several more tests, it seems to be that the PSU extensions where the issue, that they were too long and could not deliver the power. So far I am at this point where that seems to be the solution
  7. It's crashing with the XMP disabled, but I have never heard of Aida64, nor prime, so I'll give it a shot At last I thought it was AMD radeon software, but after driver reinstalling to a more stable version, same result
  8. Hello everyone Thank you for your support every time I put something here. I need some serious help troubleshooting my PC I keep getting black screens every time and i have tried everything It al started while I was streaming GRID 2019 on my twitch channel, the PC seemed not to handle it to good, the stream was s little laggy but kept going no problem Suddenly it went black screen and system crashed, ever since I've been getting constant random crashes on black screen, mostly streaming, I do most of my online hours while streaming So, I've been crashing while streaming, and just today while not streaming It's actually pretty random, I crash loading a game, or loading something. Sometimes something as dumb as someone joining discord makes it crash My system specs Ryzen 7 2700X with CM Aio 16 gb of g.skill ram 3200 Radeon 5500XT B450F gaming motherboard Corsair CX750M psu 80+ bronze So. Well I have tried everything from reinstalling Drivers, updating them, backdating them, moving bios setting, sending everything to stock on bios, change bios on graphics card, removing drivers, like rgb, that just MIGHT, have issues. I even reinstalled windows and still having the same issues, I'm just so done today I have tried everything on the last few days and I don't even know the root problem I feel seriously awful, Id love to test with some other hardware, to try to test if it's the ram, cpu, mobo, etc. But I don't have any other hardware of the same gen and i cannot change pieces I've been streaming "seriously" since 6 months, I have been streaming for 2 years but just recently I have started to gain numbers and everything My PC has never been the best, it has had its issues previously but nothing this bad I feel awful, sorry. I could add some photos if that helps
  9. Yep, o went for that one and it should be arriving on the 16, thanks for all the help so far!
  10. Strong point there Sadly the hardware shops here are not good generally so most of the good stuff is online or imported
  11. The one I'm inclined right now for is a 1440 75hz, the LG one Since at 1440 i wouldn't run any more from es currently, I think is a best choie. What I'm curious is about the HDR support it has
  12. Looking into that one I came across https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B079J4F4ZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_MsC9FbT1KRJRY
  13. That one does not ship to mexico, but looks rather interesting, Do you run a 5ms screen?
  14. No job means exactly that, my parents take care of me but have never ever gave me money
  15. I'm currently running a R7 2700X with a 5500XT, not the strongest but gets the job done. I play mainly rocket league, lol and some other titles, also j stream hotel games so the hdr option seems interesting
  16. Didn't know there was a display section, how rude, I'm sorry
  17. Hi everyone, some time ago I bought a 144hz monitor, actually one that linus recommended, the sceptre monitor, but the 27inch version So I just sold it yesterday with a little but of profit and i wanted to get the next year version which changes for an ips panel and some other features But I've been wondering around looking for displays and other things I'm from Mexico and availability is one thing, my budget is 6800 mxn which is roughly 345 dollars, tops, literally I have no job and no other money income right now These are some of the options I've seen https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-32qn600-b-led-monitor https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B08G3MBQQT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_2SB9FbJVHWYW1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B079J4F4ZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_MsC9FbT1KRJRY Please someone help me, I'm not certain what I should go for My brother says stick to a 24 inch but I liked the 27 inch size, also I loved 144hz even if I don't run it in every game, on the desktop felt amazing Specs for the system: Ryzen 7 2700X Sapphire 5500XT 8gb
  18. My current networks is 100 download and 100 upload, I don't really think it's a internet problem either But I actually have been having a lot of issues with my PC recently, so I actually wanted to give it a full windows reset, also cleared the Cmos
  19. No, the stream is recorded online and then a backup is created on facebook mainly, Ill go ahead and try with bare OBS in that case, thx for the tip
  20. Okay so, thank you all so much for reading this first of all Secondly, well i ve been wanting to stream for a while for now, i choose some of my pc parts for this end and i would like to get some help to improve, mostly the streaming settings| Right now i am using Streamlabs to stream, using the app mobcrush (for some reason i have it free even if its prime) Ive been running from time to time into the stream crashing or just randomly disconnecting, i stream League of Legents, GTA, Rocket League, Minecraft, i wanted to do Apex Legends but i cant My current system settings are the following Ryzen 7 2700X with ML240 Liquid Cooler AMD Radeon 5500 XT 8GB SE Sapphire 2X 8GB G.Skill TridentZ 3600mhz B450-F Gaming ROG 250 ssd for boot drive and important apps, its a Kingston drive 4Tb hard Barracuda Hard drive for games 850W power supply CX corsair if im not mistaken i think thats the main important components (Of course id love to switch for something better, but i honestly think this does for now and i dont really have any money, so i cant invest on upgrades) I like to do multiple streaming, i think that way I can reach out for more people, but i dont really know if this impacts my stream performance/ I have a Sceptre 27inch Monitor 144hz, 1920x1080, i run all games on that resolution, most of them in high settings or ultra Hope you can give me some tips or advice guys, i even planned to switch out my encoder, to use something different than Streamlabs
  21. The thing is that i live in Mexico, and the first problem is finding hardware at a good price, the second problem is that if i search for used hardware its not that reliable so, thats why i would like to go for new Right now i have found the 2 editions that i wish for on amazon and a Mexican page The Rx 590 is currently at 5450 pesos + shipping The 5500 xt is currently at 5350 including shippong so
  22. No, i rock a b450 rog strix mobo and a ryzen 7 2700x, i wouldnt have gen4 pcie
  23. No, i rock a b450 rog strix mobo and a ryzen 7 2700x, i wouldnt have gen4 pcie
  24. I've seen a fair amount of comparison between 5500 xt and 580/590 Sometimes I even see the 590 win But the 5500 is gddr6 and has a higher clock, but not as many cores or something So Wich one is better or should I grab? I have the theory that the 5500 xt will be better over the time, will perform better with updates So ? Pd, I would grab 5500 xt nitro or 590 nitro blue
