  1. I dont think it is heat related as I said the highest the CPU hit was around 45 degrees and the highest the GPU hit was 68 degrees. Aren't these fairly acceptable temps? I was using coretemp to measure the CPU and GPU-Z for the GPU.
  2. Hi guys I just recently upgraded my PC with new parts (i5 9600k, RTX 2070 super, 16GB DDR4 RAM and gigabyte z370p d3 motherboard. However after playing games (forza 4, battlefield 1, witcher 3) for a varied amount of time the game will crash and so will the computer itself which requires me to turn it off and on. However the game runs perfectly fine. The PC boots fine, all the fans spin, the temperature for the i5 sits at around 28 Degrees idle to around 45 Degrees underload and the GPU sits at 30 degrees idle to at max 68 degrees under load. Ive made sure windows is at the most recent update, the geforce drivers have been uninstalled and installed again and all the drivers from the motherboard disk have been installed. Im confused on what it could be? Perhaps my HDD, its almost 6 years old now and this is where my games are stored so that might be the issue? Or the PSU its also almost 6 years old now. (Corsair 750M) Any help is greatly appreciated!
  3. Hi guys! Wasn't sure where to put this topic so sorry in advance if its not meant to be in the "networking" category. I live in a rural area and for all my life have suffered from terrible internet I just done a wired speedtest on my desktop and got around 1.5mbps down and 0.7 Up, not very good However I have started looking into 4g broadband deals, the one im looking at is from three (I live in the UK) which is a Huawei HomeFi B311 with unlimited data for 12 months or 24 months. I have also looked into getting an external antena to get the best possible reception/speed possible. I was wondering if anyone here uses this form of internet, has any experience in this area or has a better option for me. I'm all ears! Thanks.
  4. That G3 looks really good for the money however im in the UK and cant find that G3 anywhere with those specs on the UK page.
  5. Around the same price as the Ga502 or less.
  6. Hi guys, Im looking at laptops to get for college but also for some decent gaming, doesn't have to be to crazy though. The current laptop that I have been looking at is the ASUS Zephyrus ga502. I like the look of this laptop as it isnt to "gamery" and isnt bulky or too heavy so its still portable. However this laptop uses Ryzen 7 3750h and I have no past experience with AMD and have always stuck with intel. If anyone here has this laptop or any other suggestions of laptop to get (thats a similar price) please feel free to tell me. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks for all the responses guys! The suggestion of HD558's is great but here in the UK they are only £20 cheaper than the 598's. So my next question is how bad is the sound leakage for open backed headphones because I don't want to end up people hearing my game volume through my mic? Thanks again guys!
  8. Hey guys my headset recently broke and I have been looking into getting a new one and so far it has been a very daunting task to take on. As all the headsets I have owned have been "Gaming" ones, but I have heard many times that Headphones are the much better choice. So I have narrowed it down to either the Senheiser HD598 Sr or the Cs variant. I will mostly be using these headphones for gaming but also along with music use, so please share your experience with either of these headphones or give me your insight on closed or open backed headphones. Thanks for helping guys!
