    think of a computer like legos, you can mix and match stuff for the most parts. but there are limitations as for a GPU yes you can use any GPU instead of titan X

    yeah i forgot linus is pushed luke off to start floatplane so if it fails its more on him lol i honestly feel like if they dont let him change its name because its a very new account no one knows would just be dumb. but hey this is a LTT forum so i guess dumb is normal lol

    you can try to do some stuff like reinstall windows or restart CMOS or stuff to make sure but in the end it might be a big hassle, and might not fix it. but it does suck not knowing if your OC temp is too high. i got my 860k to 4.6 on the 212 evo with only 1.35V so I assume your temps are fine at 4ghz as long as your voltage isn't high,

    I honestly dont see why you cant run it with the settings lowered, the recommended are for a good gameplay experience, it doesn't mean no GPU under this will not be able to run this game. it just means any GPU under this tier might not run the game at 60fps at med to high settings

    maybe on low settings and if that gives issues then lower the resolution of the game and it should work, might not look as good as the ps4 tho. your CPU matters too you can always refund a steam game if under 2 hours playtime.

    post a pic please. might just have broken temperature sensor. my 860k used to run at -999999c lol. i think the 760k and 860k are just prone to temp scones breaking lol

    its in C not F so its running at 89F so yes the temps are normal lol

    even if you overclock the overclock wont be in effect unless the CPU needs to run at the speed, its not going to run at 5ghz when you have have chrome open even if you have oit overclocked to 5ghz. it only runs at the speed it needs to do waht the program needs it to do.

    well are you running it on load or idle? if its idle the temps are normal lol you can see in the pic its running idle, so thats why, you have to test on full load to see the max temps and to make sure your OC is stable and it wont crash after running for 2 hours 32 is fine for idle temps. if temps stay on same on evey program even on load then you can just have a broken temp sensor

    im not, I thought it was just LTT videos early so they can make some extra money like vessel. im not blaming them for it as it is a good idea to make extra money and start their own thing. just not a fan of stuff like that, paid only content. I even turn off adblock on LTT videos only I was subbed to floatplane but by the time i got around to watching videos they were on LTT alredy so i canceled, (it was when i first joined the forum)

    lol i would of used the RAM money to buy a 390x when you got the build lol. then you'd be set for even longer on GPU side RAM is RAM, the $200 ram will perform the same as the $80 ram (if speed is the same)

    how much ram do you have? if its 8gb then I dont see a reason to upgrade unless you have failing parts, and if then upgrade what gives you trouble. the CPU is perfectly fine and the GPU well I would of got a 390 over the 970 to start with but since you have a 970 its still good for today's games, but if anything upgrade the GPU to a 1070 or 1070TI

    as was said water cooling will just make your room heat up faster as more heat will be dissipated than is right now. can you move your computer to a bigger room maybe? if thats the issue. or open a window, add fans to the room blowing air out and have a window so air can flow better

    i have the 11 that come installed on the 8 and haven't updated it since and I have no issues. maybe its the latest version? unless its the OS its self you're talking about
