Marfe reacted to Mathieu9836 in MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon VS ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus
Off the suggestion you made, BOTH have very good overclocking capabilities, they will BOTH handle anything you will ask them to do (VRM wise), you can even put an LN2 pot on the 3700X, the light in your house will start to fade out before the VRMs get hot. Just choose which boards you prefer in those two, the features you like the most between those two. The both have very good VRMs, it's not even a VRM battle it's a feature battle.

So to answer you question, The X470 Pro carbon as 10 power phases, the X570 Tuf Gaming Plus as 12 power phases, which is the most stable at overclocing i don't know, they probably both do very good. There is no review out there on extreme OC with the X570 Tuf Gaming Plus but it's probably good. I know for sure the X470 Pro Carbon is very popular for OCing and Buildzoid said he used the Pro Carbon to do his Memory overlocking tests, so i guess thats something to consider.
I know i'm not pointing a particular board, thats because they both are probably very good. Like i said choose with the features you like the most, looking at buildzoid reviews of both boards may help more then i can.

I don't know if this will do what you're after, but with my four monitors of different sizes I use a program called Actual Multiple Monitors. Has lots of config options for wallpapers, lock-screen, individual task bars (a big one for me), and even moving windows to different monitors.

I've heard that those Gigabyte cards run a bit loud and hot, but it's a little better price-wise. I'd consider waiting for your friend, though I don't think the price will drop that drastically any time soon.

    oh ok.

Bot the RTX card because that's 1080 performance with features no one knows whether this GPU can use it. Just like Hairworks on GTX 1060s: Supported, but frame rates are so bad you'll turn it off anyway.

Then the Zotac cards. Both got bad PCBs so overclocking is ill-advised (VRM temperature goes pretty high at stock). 1080ti can let you use higher settings for the meantime and last an extra year or two with that extra performance (let's say 4 years while 1080 is good for 3), so I choose the 1080ti.

he will be getting that card when next gen cards from NVidia appear.

    Good day!

I want to create a batch file to back up my save game on Monster Hunter World but I don't exactly know how batch files work.
Currently this is my batch file

    robocopy D:\Test D:\Output

In the first copy it goes ok but when I try to run the batch file again it does nothing.

How can I delete the file on the output folder then copy again the file on the test folder.

Marfe reacted to vanished in Robocopy, Backing up with batch file.
you need to pass the /MIR flag
    for example, robocopy /MIR D:\Test D:\Output
This will make the output match the source by copying any new files, updating any existing ones (if necessary), and deleting ones form the destination that no longer exist in the source.

to this (painted the PSU Shround)

SuperSpeed USB is the name for USB 3.0, yes, just like 2.0 was known as "hi-speed", although neither name/term is ever used in my experience.

It should be plenty.  You might record at 50 Mbit/s if you want very high quality... in a sequential write the HDD should easily do 10x that

Marfe reacted to WoodenMarker in Can a 650W PSU Handle a 2070/1080?
This is a suggestion and not a hard rule. The tier list attempts to organize psus by quality and an estimation of its reliability.
A high quality 450w psu for example can be assumed to reliably supply 450w without issue whereas a low quality one might struggle with 300w. What's considered reliable enough changes as psus improve overall and with who you're asking.
Whether a system is low or high end is subjective whereas how much power a system draws is objective. Even when oc'ed, a 1600 + 1080 shouldn't pull much more than 300w which is no problem for your psu.
The logic behind getting a higher end psu for a higher end system is that you can probably afford a better psu if you have the money for high end components.

Even if you put the CPU to 7GHz@1.5V and the GPU to 1910MHz core and 2250MHz memory it is still under 600W

So I sent an inquiry in Amazon JP to CableMod JP and they said that they will look into it. After a few days they sent me an email that the white AIO sleeving is now posted on Amazon JP for about $22 (Free shipping). I ordered 2 days ago and it arrived now.

@Marfe that pricing sounds off from the start honestly, please email Support@CableMod.com so we can check on that for you. I wouldn't recommend painting though as these are nylon based, and flexing them as you do with AIO tubes would result in the paint flaking most likely.

I actually went ahead and made some modification to my case yesterday. I bought an Acrylic sheet and made the side panel full window (If felt like the borders of the MasterBox 5 sidel panel are too thick) and I extended the PSU shroud to cover the hard drive bays.

Marfe got a reaction from Inversion in The journey of my first build
I bought a big ass acrylic sheet (3mmx600mmx900mm) at our local hardware store for my side panel and the dimensions of my side panel is only around 500mmx600mm so i have a lot of extra acrylic sheet. I used the acrylic sheet to extend my PSU shroud. But you need a heat gun to bend the acrylic sheet.

Just measure the dimension of the case PSU and hard drive bay then buy the size that's enough for the PSU and HDD bay.

Marfe got a reaction from Zando_ in The journey of my first build
Back in Aug 2017 I decided to build my first PC. I don't care about aesthetics. I just wanted to play games.

    CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
    Motherboard: MSI B350M Bazooka
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3GB Aero ITX OC
    Ram: Corsair LPX 2x8GB 3000mhz DDR4
PSU: Antec Neo Eco 650W 80+ Bronze
    Storage:
    • Samsung 850 Evo 250GB (Boot Drive)
    • Western Digital Blue 1TB (Anything Library)
Case: Silencio 352 (mATX Form Factor)

And it ended up like this

After a few months of watching PC Builds on youtube (specially this one) I decided to change my case to have a windowed side panel so I decided to buy a MasterBox 5 White. I also bought a cheap RGB Strip with controller to light up my case.

After a few weeks I decided to buy some white PSU extention to remove the hideous ketchup and mustard cable that my PSU has.

A few months ago I decided to paint the PSU shroud and hard drive bay white to match the case.

Last week I was in Akihabara and I bought an X72 for a really good price (It was the same price with the X62 so I picked the X72). I also bought NZXT Hue+, AER RGB fans.
Then I decided to buy some acrylic sheet to change the side panel of my case (I know it is already a windowed side panel but I think the borders of the side panel of the MasterBox 5 is too thick) I also made an extention of the PSU shroud to cover the hard drive bay.

All of those things installed and it ended up like this. (Background noise was my air conditioner)

I know the white cable for the AIO is ugly but it will do for now. I can't find some braided sleeving to cover the AIO tubing and the CableMod AIO Sleeving kit on amazon here in Japan is very expensive.
