  1. Good day! So i've finally saved enough money and just waiting for the GTX 1180. I just want to ask. Do you think the R5 1600 @ 3.8Ghz will bottleneck the GTX 1180? I know it's not out yet. I just want to know thoughts about it. Thanks!
  2. I think I'll just put an electrical tape on it. It's on the top on the PC for exhaust so it's not that visible. I'm just a bit OCD.
  3. I just want to ask if it's ok to block the LED points of the AF140 White LED Quiet edition with electrical tape. I have a AF140 White LED and I'm changing the color scheme of my build and the white LED is not matching it. Will it melt/burn the electrical tape because of the heat of the LED light? Thanks
  4. I just watched JayzTwoCents video about Push vs Pull vs Push/Pull he said push/pull is better but he only tested on the same size rad tho.
  5. I live in Japan. The MasterBox 5 here has a mesh front. Also has a fan mount at the top.
  6. 360mm AIOs are a bit expensive. What do you mean no airflow to start with?
  7. Good day! I'm planning to buy an AIO for my PC. I just want your opinion about this. Currently I have 5 case fans on my PC. 4 SP120 high performance and 1 AF140 quiet. if i'm going to buy a 280mm AIO all of the case fans in the front will be removed and will not be usable. I'm thinking that it's a waste because SP120s are really expensive. But if I buy a 240 AIO i can use all 4 of the SP120s for a push&pull config then use the fans that are included in the AIO as case fans. Also, will the 280 AIO still perform better than a 240mm AIO w/ push&pull config? What do you guys think?
  8. Paint your PSU shroud white! It will look AWESOME!
  9. TL;DR: If you are a first time builder and planning to use a Non-Modular Power Supply... DO NOT BUY THE SILENCIO 352 I know both are a pretty old case as of 2018 but I just want to share my experience with it. It was my first time building a computer last December. •CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 •MOBO: MSI B350M Bazooka •RAM: 8x2 Corsair LPX 3000mhz •GPU: MSI 1060 3GB Aero ITX OC •PSU: Antec Neo Eco 650W 80+ Bronze •STORAGE: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB •STORAGE: WD Blue 1TB •CASE: Silencio 352 The picture below was the end result. Cable management in the Silencio 352 was VERY AWFUL. NOT ADVISABLE FOR FIRST TIME BUILDERS(Specially if you don't have a modular power supply). At the back of the case there isn't much room to store cables. CPU temps idles at 40C and 60C under gaming load. Can't remember the GPU temps. After a few weeks of watching youtube videos about building computers and most cases now a days have a Glass/Open side panel and RGB I decided to change my case. I decided to buy a MasterCase 5 (White) and give my friend my old Silencio 352. Cable management on the MasterCase 5 was a breeze. I don't know if it's just I already had a first time experience building or if it's just really a spacious case.I also bought SilverStone sleeved extension cables for a much "Cleaner" look. I only bought the 24pin and the 6+2pin extension cables because I thought the 4+4pin CPU connector will not be seen. Temps are VERY GREAT. Now I idle around 30C and 45C under gaming load. (It's probably the cooler tho(Hyper 212 Evo), but the stock cooler of the Ryzen 1600 was very great in most reviews) I also bought a cheap LED Strip with controller There is a lot of room at the back of the case to put all of your cables and there is a PSU shroud to cover the cables. All in all I have 5 fans in my tower. 3 120mm fans in the front 1 at the back and 1 140mm at the top (I'm in Japan and the MasterBox 5 here has a fan mount at the top). Front of the case is full mesh. You wouldn't have any problem about airflow. I also bought some cheap magnetic filters to add in the front of the case so there would be less dust coming inside the case. There is a lot of mounting options for 2.5" storage but unfortunately the case only includes 1 mounting bracket for a 2.5" drive. There is also a 3.5" storage bay at the bottom right of the case for 2 hard drives. I also painted the PSU Shroud and the 3.5" bay white Me and my friends are playing games such as Dota 2 and PUBG. But all of my friends bought a pre-built PC, i'm the only one who built my own PC. So everytime someone visit my apartment they were very amaze in my PC. I know for the #PCMasterRace people this is a peasant PC but for people who bought pre-built PC without Windowed Side panel just to play games... This is a very good looking PC.
  10. I live in Japan.
  11. Good day! It’s prime day today and I’m thinking of buying a 500GB SSD for the games that I play most of the time. I was original going to buy the 860 Evo at the end of the month when I receive my salary but today MX500 is included in the prime day sale. Today the price of MX500 500GB is $97(Prime day discount, not on sale = $125) while the 500GB 860 Evo is $125(Not included in the prime day sale) Can anyone tell me their experience with Crucial SSDs? I’ve been using Samsung SSDs for years (My cousin still uses my 128gb 830 evo until now) and I didn’t have a problem with them. I just want to hear your thoughts on Cruicial SSDs. Thank you!
  12. Good day! I’m planning to buy a H150i Pro and LL120 3 pack to make a push/pull config on my PC (LL120 = Pull). I’m just wondering is it a bad idea to use different spec fan on a push pull config? The fans with the H150i Pro specs While the LL120 specs are The fans that are similarly spec with the fans of the H150i are the ML120 Pro RGB But unfortunately it is not available in any of the stores here in Japan
  13. I’m in the market for a used GTX 980 ti and I just want to ask what should I be looking out for when buying a used GPU and what are the things I should ask the seller about his/her card? Thanks!
  14. 0.16A at max? Isnt that a bit too low?
  15. I can't seem find the amperage of this fan http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/case-fan/silencio-fp-120-pwm/ The 2 stock fans are rated 0.34A http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/case-fan/xtraflo-120/ and the other fan that I'll be puting on the top is 0.16A http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/case-fan/xtraflo-120-slim/
  16. The MOBO supports PWM and the 2 stock fans and the 3 fans that I will be buying are also PWM. I guess i'm good with using splitter?
  17. Let say I bought 2 spliiters for the 2 headers of the MOBO. Will all 4 fans still be in PWM?
  18. I can't find in the manual how many amps the header is.
  19. I've read somewhere that it is bad for the MOBO to use fan splitter.
