  1. I entered the settings manually because its just 2 settings i have to change. on B350 i have to use an offset instead of inputting the desired voltage i want. I also did clear my cmos in between flashes so that i start fresh.
  2. Good afternoon folks, I am currently running a Ryzen 1600 and an Asus Prime B350 Plus and i was Running a 1.3v 3.825 OC on Bios version 3806. I updated my bios to version 4008 and i put in my OC settings and go to test if its stable and it freezes. I go in and check to make sure the settings took and they did not. My voltage is locked slighly below stock at 1.243 instead of 1.275. No matter what i try its stuck at 1.243V. So i try reverting back to bios version 3806 and i put in my settings and same thing. My voltage is locked at 1.243V and freezes on every test i run. Do you guys have any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks!
  3. Hello Guys I am currently using a K95 Platinum and Corsair glaive mouse. I have Corsair Utility installed but i have been having plenty of issues with it. First issue i have is when i first start my computer the software opens automatically. When i play a game i have some of my keys bound to the extra buttons on the mouse. Most of the time when i have the software running i can't use any buttons except the left and right click buttons. I cant even change my DPI and it will get stuck on a setting i don't like. on my keyboard sometimes when i press a key it just keeps repeating the key press. When i open the software to change things it always says my hardware profiles are not saved or conflict with one another. by this time i get frustrated and i turn off the software and them everything works fine. I was wondering if anyone else has had these issues and if you have any ideas of how i can fix them. I'm open to anything. Thanks.
  4. i think there pretty much the same minus the macros. I have a K95 Plat in browns and i love it. I picked it up at microcenter ( i have one close by ) for an amazing deal. The other diffrence that comes to mind is that the K95 has an aluminium frame and the k70 does not, I'm not sure if that is a deal breaker but for me i love the tough metal frame.
  5. i have this same mousepad and i have washed it in the machine many times with my normal clothes. when its done i just let it air dry because im not sure if the dryer will melt anything.
  6. I'm not sure about all the other blue switches but Cherry MX switches are pretty much top of the line. I would say out of those id get the cougar with the cherry mx blues.
  7. I don't think there is a best for gaming. I believe its all down to personal preference. I personally do not like the reds because they feel to soft to me. i like the clickyness of the blues but it drove my wife nuts so i bought the browns. Overall i say the browns and blues are great for typing because you have the click for the blues and bump for the browns. I have read that reds don't feel right when typing because there linear. I would go to a microcenter if your near one because they have all the keyboards out for you to try any of the switches you need.
  8. You can try the silent switches but my wife found them too loud when i bottomed out the keys on them. I personally have the k95 plat in browns and she found the browns to be bearable. I just recently bought some o-ring dampeners and it cut down on the "clack" you hear when you bottom out the keys. If you have the Mx Blues then you can't get rid of the click noise because that is how that are built.
  9. If its the RGB version off the strafe then yes it has per key back lighting. I don't think it will detect when you start the game so you will have to switch profiles yourself when you play a different game.
  10. Hello I have a quick question about VRM temps. I have a Asus Prime B350 Plus running a 1600 on it. I know the proper way to measure the VRM temp is a thermal probe but i do not have access to one. I do how ever have a laser infrared thermometer. I am running an overclock of 1.3v at 3.8 GHZ. How should ( if possible ) i measure my VRM temps with my laser thermometer? What temps should I stay in? I question this because i have seen Buildzoids and Gamers Nexus vids about Ryzen motherboards and from what i gathered is all B350 boards VRMs are trash and i should of bought a expensive x370 board. I would like to try and push my OC if i can if my temps on my board are in check. thanks!
  11. I currently have a cooler master masterbox 5t http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/masterbox-5t/ It can hold 3x 120s or 2x 140s up front and 1 rear 120/140 and one top 120/140. Currently I have 2 Corsair af 120s up front occupying the top two spots and the 2 included 120 case fans as exhaust. I wold like to know if I should add one more 120 up front and change the exhaust fans to 140s. Thanks!
  12. Hello I have a ryzen 1600 paired with a 212 Evo on a Asus prime b350+. Right now I have a stable 3.8 OC at 1.3V. My question is how much power could my Mobo take before I should get worried? I would like to see how much I can squeeze out of my CPU
  13. ok give me a second. i figured out i was running a real old version of riva and i downloaded it separate and now its working to a degree. i am running a ryzen 1600 and now i have no option in MSI to moniter the temps
  14. Hey guys im looking for a CPU on screen monitoring program. I have tried MSI+riviatuner and it said its not compatible with my version of windows. I download NZXT Cam after that but the problem im having with that is when i have Cam up in game it will drop my FPS by 5 to sometimes 10 FPS. i was wondering if there is any other great OSD program i can use to monitor my CPU with.
