  1. This isn't advisable. Using outdated software, especially one as exposed as a internet browser, is a terrible idea from a security perspective. I would highly recommend simply moving to another (property updated) browser rather than open yourself up to security risk purely for aesthetic preferences If you must, here's a link with old versions. https://google-chrome.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions Don't forget to stop auto updates: https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7125792
  2. Hi there- I'm really sorry you are going threw this, and you are right it's really serious. It may be that you simply aren't able to get the information that you are looking for. While Google may have it logged somewhere deep in their system, that doesn't mean that you will have access to getting the data without a court order. I'm not sure the legal implications of what you are describing, but it's certainly worth talking with the police or lawyer and see if they have any suggestions. The only option I'm aware of is the Google Data Download/Takeout, which I believe is what you are describing earlier. There is an option for email there, so it may be worth looking into, but this is more to see what data Google has collected on you, nor necessarily an audit log, like you are looking for. Anyway, this is slightly off topic and I'm sure you've already gone through this, but it's necessary to ask yourself what else does he have access to? If he's willing to do this, what else is he willing to do? Any and all important passwords and accounts need to changed/secured on a secured computer, preferably one that's reformatted. Best of luck with this shitty situation and I hope it gets better for you.
  3. The Dropout Hoodie makes for the perfect cuddle wear for the newest member of my family: my new daughter. 🙂

  4. Am I missing something? Why not just subnet out and block internet access on the VLAN. Assign the blocked VLAN to the ports, and a unblocked VLAN to the wireless network. Firewall them out.
  5. I mean, OP didn't mention budget so I have no idea what is or isn't cost prohibitive but you can get something like this used 2U SuperMicro chasis comes with the backplane, fans and PSU for under $150 shipped.
  6. https://www.silverstonetek.com/en/product/info/server-nas/CS380/ https://www.silverstonetek.com/en/product/info/server-nas/CS351/ if you wanted to get into rack mounting, there are far more options.
  7. Has labs even published their current day testing methodology? If it's published somewhere, I'm not aware of it.
  8. The system isn't detecting the GPU. Most common reason is that it isn't seated correctly.
  9. Are you seeing actual frequency drops at 80C? It's certainly possible, but if the fans are reported spinning at rated speed I'd be hard pressed to say that's the case.
  10. I agree, I looked through all the photos you provided and I can't see any evidence of damage.
  11. An "Operating System" is such a loosely defined term that you could reasonably say a GPU runs an OS today.
  12. Is this a new or used motherboard? If new, press Y to reset TPM.
  13. This is a pretty clear indication that there's an issue with the CPU. Start be reseating the CPU, checking pins carefully to make sure there's nothing bent. Reseat the RAM as well. Go from there. If you are still having issues, post specs.
  14. Hey, I'm wondering the same thing about my keyboard.
  15. Well, you did a piss-poor job of expressing your point. Why don't you explain it more clearly?
  16. Western names = okay to make fun of. Eastern names = not okay to make fun of. Is that the conclusion we are coming to?
  17. I think we need a new thread for the labs website? This topic seems to have fulfilled its original purpose.
  18. So the device doesn't power, nor does it respond when anything is plugged into the USB-C you are shit out of luck. From what I can see FPC issues are common on A-Series. You are either stuck with a repair bill or lose the data. In the future, remember to always backup your data so you don't lose this. Prevention is better than any solution.
  19. As I recall someone saying.... "big oof".
  20. Is there a particular reason you want to capture the video locally on the PC rather on the phone itself, then transfer the video?
  21. I'm trying for the life of me to figure out how this happened.
  22. My TV updated and now it won't turn off properly. The fact that's a sentence drives me up a *fucking* wall.

Another reason I never connect TVs to the Internet. I can't believe how many updates break things still these days. My mom has had two TVs replaced under warranty due to firmware updates. (Within a year)

Every TV in my house has an HTPC hooked to it. Keeps things simple, as the PC can play physical media, can be a Steam link, emulation, as well as all the digital stuff etc.

Vote with your wallet by not buying new crap. There's plenty of tech on the used market as an alternative. And I don't mean buying a 1 year old used TV that still requires internet.

  23. I was curious enough to internet archive it, here are the two sites: December 2022: Live site: Honestly, selling casters that don't support close to 25% of Americans is unacceptable on it's own. Right now on Amazon you can purchase casters that support literally 3x the weight for less money.
