  1. keep in mind that you also have losses in the PSU. as such thats more like 550-600w at the PSU
  2. i mean, as far as im aware, the Corsair SF platinum is better than the silverstone SX. The SX has powerdensity going for it, but its not like you need nore power than what the SF750 provides.
  3. And for that build it would be plenty. None of those parts are perticular power hogs. Edit: its not like there are much better SFX PSUs to choose from.
  4. I do Not really had the chance to play around with overclocking on these newer plattforms, so i dont really know.
  5. Board power limit on the GPU is 390w. Which is 5% higher than stock. If you are running unlocked powerlimit on the CPU, there isn't much point in overclocking that, and the powerdraw wont change much. Ram pulls fuck all.
  6. I mean, the B550 Vision D exists, its just a touch less white in locations that will be covered by GPUs. I mean, at the very least save the money by going with the 11700k, as its less of a dumb purchase. (Assuming you have the option to) But as previously stated, that PSU is fine for that build.
  7. Its plenty fine for that build. I would encourage avoiding the 11700k and 11900k as they are really just a waste of money compared to the 10900k or 5800x/5900x. That and they are the same or worse than the 10900k, and just worse than the 5800x/5900x. edit: may have missread the post a touch, but if you allready own everything just test it. You will be testing for stability anyways, and wattage wise its plenty fine
  8. Thats the P-GM. The "-" For where the wattage numbers go. And its currently in tier E due to widespread issues. Including but not limited to: Sparks, DOA, Killing components (when failing) , and a not properly set OTP/OPP. If you are looking at a higher end build, take a look at a tier A PSU. Quite a few of them can be had for a reasonable price.
  9. As far as consumer CPUs go, its as good as it gets.
  10. https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX72909 EVGA BR is 35CAD over at memmory express, so no thanks to that group regulated unit.
  11. with the PSUs you have listed, the HX is by far the best. those ROG PSUs are very overpriced for what they are.
  12. Its out for laptops, and have been for a while.
  13. Afaik it does. AMD just wont have technical support outside of the mentioned series of GPUs. (Thats how i understood it at least) We will know exactly how wide the support is when it launches.
  14. no, but it really isnt going to be efficient. Tho its only 6w, so not really relevant. i assume this is just a PSU you have on hand, and its gonna work plenty well
  15. given thats a fairly low volume board, thats a board with higher likelyhood of needing to be flashed. worth also keeping in mind AMD is allegedly doing an X570 refresh with the X570S chipset (s for silent). They are having a talk at computex in a couple of days. So that is worth keeping in mind. i havent really had a propper look at higher end B550 boards to make a propper recommendation sadly.
  16. chipset IO is the only inherent difference. It dictates some things like the number of USB ports, and Chipset PCIe lanes. tho its very much on a per board basis when it comes to USB.
  17. its dram voltage, it will run perfectly fine at 1.45v dram voltage. also if i can make some suggestions: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yLBhP6/ek-ek-aio-360-d-rgb-6604-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-ek-aio-360-d-rgb better AIO. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vkLwrH/mushkin-pilot-e-2-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-mknssdpe2tb-d8 equivelent, much cheaper storage. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dFdFf7/corsair-power-supply-cp9020070na https://pcpartpicker.com/product/c96qqs/be-quiet-dark-power-pro-12-1200-w-80-titanium-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-bn646 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/sdRgXL/be-quiet-dark-power-pro-12-1500-w-80-titanium-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-bn647 Much much nicer powersupplies. Units that arent overpriced Prime units from Seasonic. If you are gonna spend a lot on the Powersupply, at the very least get something nice. Id also recommend taking a look at the higher end B550 boards.
  18. the documentation i screenshoted from that specific motherboard manufacturer website. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-B560-PLUS-WIFI/techspec/ its in the "reveal hidden contents" part of my post. since i like to have screenshots etc under spoiler tags.
  19. Also worth keeping in mind that the first M.2 slot will be unusable on 10th gen CPUs due to 11th gen having more PCIe lanes. id suggest trying to get 11th gen, look for other retailers, or check out other options if possible.
  20. and the GF1 is a gilded Tier A, and not just a blue tier A. It also has a better fan. its just the better powersupply.
  21. As i said, out of the options you presented, the GF1 is the best choice. Buy on a per unit basis, not based on the sticker. Seasonic like everyone else has both garbage and good units, in this case the GF1 is just better.
  22. Out of the mentioned options the Thermaltake GF1 is the best one. What country you buying in? And roughly how much are you looking to spend
  23. its a good singlerail. but compared to other offerings arounds its typical retail price, its just not very competetive compared to other offerings like the HX.
