  1. the changes i mentioned would just be a straight upgrade from the specs you mentioned. the 11900k is just an underwhealming part for what it is, kinda worse than the part it replaces, the 10900k. The 5800x is just better than the 11900k. And you can step up to a 5900x if you wanted to. also worth noting that 32gb total memmory would likely be plenty fine.
  2. swap, Focus based iirc, Unsure if it specifically applies to this one, but regardless its a mid range unit, may trip on the RTX 3080ti. take a look at something like the HX850 or HX1000 or HX1200, should be similarly priced, and they are way better powersupplies. Dending on what is available, some other units may be interesting. swap for a 5800x or consider waiting for alderlake at this point. the 11900k is just not a worthwhile CPU to go for. id encourage taking a look at the EK AIO d-RGB or the Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 or the Lian Li Galahad, AIOs. better and often cheaper than the Z73. if you are going for a PCIe 4.0 SSD, id take a look at something like the SN850 instead. Depending on the pricing offcourse. also an X570S chipset may offer more room for adding more high speed storage should you choose to. take a look at the Bequiet Silent Base 802, it may be of interest.
  3. PSU lacks OTP, id avoid. and 2 dimmslot board is kinda "oof".

BitFenix Formula Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (BP-FM750ULAG-7R) - PCPartPicker MSI MPG A-GF 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (MPG A750GF) - PCPartPicker or just grab what Herman made and swap in either of these powersupplies. They are a bit more, but are a bit more flexible in terms of GPUs that have heavier transient loads.
  5. yeah normal behavior. RDNA2 specifically has quite the aggressive powersaving profile and when there is essentially any idle time, it essentially "turns off" the core in terms of clockspeed and voltage.
  6. A650GF would be the better PSU of the two.
  7. Removing an item to purchase is complicating things? Also, in general you want to avoid extensions or adapters that add unnecessary cable lenght or connections. Increasing the odd chance you may melt your cables (edit: well specifically the connectors, as there are now more of them) is not something i preffer doing. There is also the small voltage drop.
  8. depends which one, but the Rev DF is cheap and good in france atm. id probably stick to the DRP4, or jump to the suprisingly cheap Liquid freezer 2. https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/product/wdkD4D/phanteks-cpu-cooler-phtc14pebk or this cooler.
  9. shouldnt be paired with GA102 GPUs. While its supposed to be fixed, allegedly some units are still trippin on these high transiense GPUs. edit: its also not a perticularly good PSU to begin with. motherboard only does 1 PCIe 4.0 drive without going into lanes for the GPUs. If you want to do multiple PCie 4.0 drives, X570 is prefferable, however realistically 3.0 drives are plenty. Also id suggest doing a single large drive, for this amount you can get 2TB of good SSD storage instead. Overkill for the workloads you have decribed, a 5800x is plenty. Honestly just merge in this build. just swap out the bits you have allready bought. The Enermax Revolution DF is just a better and cheaper powersupply. and if you for whatever reason wanted bulk SSD storage. https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/product/J6ndnQ/silicon-power-a80-2-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-sp002tbp34a80m28 this is nice and cheap.
  10. would be the best option out of the three.
  11. doesnt really get much better in terms of SFX powersupplies (even including SFX-L). So as far as between those two, the SF is the obvious choice. an SF600 tho would also be plenty good.
  12. you should just be able to enable secureboot and fTMP in bios. fTPM is based on the CPU. So unless for whatever reason your board does not allow you to enable it, you should just be able to enable it. There is also the fact that Windows 10 will be supported for a very long time.
  13. Didnt see that, cuz i dont look at mail in rebates. Also: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/VTqBD3/id-cooling-se-224-xt-basic-7616-cfm-cpu-cooler-se-224-xt-basic And you dont have to deal with the rebate GF1 is only a bit more and way better. Also: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/y88H99/evga-supernova-g3-650w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-220-g3-0650 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/B9CD4D/antec-earthwatts-gold-pro-650w-80-gold-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-ea650g-pro https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3F2rxr/corsair-cx-2017-650w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-cp-9020122-na Only applies to the P-GM the AP-GM is fine, same with the P650B. With the EVGA GA not being particularly good in the first place, and its among the most transient sensetive units on the market i dont see a reason to get one. It would also allow to get a Navi 21 or higher current GA104 GPUs without having to care about transient loads once the market settles or when he can get one near-ish MSRP.
  14. Avoid H212 for other, better and/or cheaper offerings. Evga GA has issues with transient load and tripping, and overall not a very impressive PSU. Avoid in favor of other option. And id give the advice of not spending 700$ on a 350$ GPU. Id just wait for stock at normal-ish pricing. AMD does drops via website, and 6600xt can usually be had near-ish MSRP. Or just wait on other retailers. Buying a GPU now at way higher than MSRP, unless is a must, is bad advice.
  15. This is a pretty poor value build, id avoid this in favor of what @Herman Mcpootishas picked out. While Ramspeed is nice, overspending a lot on it is a waste.
  16. I did over a year ago in the WAN channel on Discord. Granted i didn't @ you back then.
  17. Hey could it be possible to change this to not include me in the credits? Im very late to say this, but i have at best had a minor role in the project in the beginning. As such having a credit is wholly unwarranted. And the list in its current form ive had no input that i am aware off.
  18. even overclocked, that PSU is plenty for that system. Its not like the 3070ti is perticularly terrible in regards to transient load.
  19. have they ever had the crown? like the AX1200i is rather old at this point, and that can be argued to be better than everything Seasonic has ever sold. Offcourse, they are a small OEM, and they have managed to build a nice image, even if what they make isnt the best.
  20. what are you buying that requires a 1000w powersupply for which you are willing to risk it with a PSU whos status is unknown, but in the same series of a known bomb? honestly, get a good PSU, not the P GM.
  21. i mean, at 100$ you can get a Meshify Mini https://pcpartpicker.com/product/JsKcCJ/fractal-design-meshify-c-mini-dark-tg-microatx-mini-tower-case-fd-ca-mesh-c-mini-bko-tgd https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vPp323/fractal-design-focus-g-mini-black-microatx-mini-tower-case-fd-ca-focus-mini-bk-w something like a Focus G mini would be fine, tho you are sacrifising notably in build quality there. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Qt3gXL/apevia-prodigy-microatx-mini-tower-case-prodigy-bk and this thing looks interesting , tho i cant vouch much to how good it is.
  22. RM650X, RM650 or Straight Power 11. Other options are just worse, and the GT stands out being fairly low end compared to the other options
