It's a website search for YTVanced,..not on the play store.

Default for most phones is the Phone not needing to be rooted/unlocked.

    Here is that version.

    Nope, they'd be the same.
YouTube still sends them the same 4K stream.

But if Chrome doesn't show 60fps quality settings then use Vanced.

Typically yes,..unless you use a phone pretty up close...eyestrain is another story.
It's a person to person basis on the resolution difference being visible, especially on smaller displays like smartphones.
(but yes you would normally need a larger screen to see these differences without pixel peeping)

Whats not placebo is the extra datarate (12-24Mb/s vs eG 24-45Mb/s)  backing the video, the datarates being increased at the higher resolutions does produce cleaner images in more demanding frame transitions of color/visibility/lighting.
Smoke/Grass/Transparency (and following frames overtime, these effects fade in color and lightness, changing each frame) so the datarate would be higher/per second in those situations (frame to frame KB/s)

YoutubeVanced for Android gets around a locked 1080p Resolution in the typical YT APP and allows 1440p-2160p for supporting phones with supporting codecs in its own YT APP clone.

The Youtube App only allows you to view UP TO Native display resolution. (1080p for 1080p Displays, 1440p for 1440p Displays)

    Download and setup YoutubeVANCED
Its a clone of the Youtube APP on Android, and allows Higher than native when setup in the options.

SkilledRebuilds reacted to NoGanksEric in RTX 2070 or RX 5700xt?
The 5700xt crushes the 2070 in pure gaming it's even better than the super variant.
But if you care for rtx and dlss and maybe the Turing video decoding chip for recording and streaming the Nvidia card is the choice.

Also maybe take into account how long you want to keep it. You said rtx is nice but there are few titles right now. Well tbh at 1080p a 2070 will last you 4 years maybe even more before you could even need a newer one. So also keep that in mind ^^
The 1070 is 4 years old now ^^ and it's still quite a nice card.

Different to the past, more meaningful today on Ryzen specifically.

I've not dropped below 60fps at High settings But it wont be long now....
HighEST settings in some games Ultra/Extreme cases (AAA) Its usually 60-120fps range depending on the game.
I can keep her longer...sure..  using Medium and High in say the next 2-3 years is likely..

Buy what you want to do NOW.

In the 3-5 years (spending the same on GPU)
Same #070 Tier and similar Cost for the GPU, Much more performance for the money years later.

SkilledRebuilds reacted to PopsicleHustler in How come, people get smooth gameplay with under 60fps. ?
Its because of consistent frame times after rendering the video.  This is why 60FPS gameplay on youtube will always look smoother compared to 60 FPS real time gameplay.

Its not silky smooth, its as smooth as it should be...running at 40-42fps, even with this 30fps source encode he put on YouTube.

He could very well capture 30fps to show better frametimes than seen in game..

Sorry to tag you all but I have an update. It worked! All I did was use the media creation tool on MS's website and installed Windows 10 Home 64bit like I would any-other OS. It automatically found the key on the motherboard and activated itself, all without intervention. Thank you all for the help!
