  1. Hello! I got myself a acer aspire 1, (A114-31-C3b7). I'm meaning to use this for school work. The CPU has struggle keeping up opening programs (something i expected from a 260$ laptop) so I was looking for a way to burst the CPU. Before buying the laptop I saw it had the cpu N3350. It has a base clock of 1.1 Ghz and burst speed of 2.4 ghz. I don't think it's running on 2.4 ghz because it's struggling so much to keep normal programs running. Here's what I tried to do: I checked the bios if I had options to force it on 2.4 ghz all the time, I wasn't an option. I have uninstalled and disabled programs that take a lot of CPU usage but it is still a bit behind. Do anyone any tips for how to fix this? -JD

  6. I don't have any flash drives or windows CD's. I have regular USB-sticks though. Is it possible to install windows from it? I currently have windows 7 on this computer. Do i just use the windows key I have now for a new installation? Also: if i want to clone the files, can I do it through my desktop?
  7. Hi! I have a Dell laptop. I want to change the harddrive on this. It is a 2.5" 5200 RPM harddrive and I would like to change it to a 2.5" SSD. Can I move all the files on my current harddrive to the SSD by just moving them on over, through my desktop computer? I will connect them through sata on my desktop. Sorry if poor english. If needed, i will try to explain it differently. Thanks in advance. -JD
  8. Thanks for the answers. I installed it and so far, fast internet and no lag. My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-Z270M-D3H, Socket-1151. i just have two lanes
  9. Hi! i have a m-atx board and on it I have two 16x lanes. I looked on the cpu i5-6600k and it says it just supports a total of 16x? Does this mean that I cant use the wireless adapter on the second pci lane without bottlenecking the gpu? The wireless adapter is asus pce-ac56 I have a z270 motherboard from gigabyte and gtx 1080.
