After trying dozens of brands of cases, the one I've settled on is Spigen, specifically their Tough Armour series. The quality of them has been excellent, they're not too bulky for the amount of protection they offer, and the prices are very reasonable. I'm not very careful with my phone at all, and while the case is covered in scuffs, the phone is still immaculate.

Although, since I've got a flippy boi on the way, I'm going to have to change my ways. Taking the insurance out on it is probably going to turn out to be the right decision!

Given they made a backpack that costs $250 and a glorified pencil case that costs $60, I dread to think how much they'd charge for a case!

yolosnail got a reaction from HenrySalayne in Project Farm's LTT Stubby Screwdriver Review
Once again I made it about a third of the way through the video before I had to turn it off, I don't know whether it's the need to CONSTANTLY SHOUT EVERYTHING AT ME or the fact it's so repetitive (there's no need to repeat the name of the screwdriver 69 times in the space of a minute), but I'd rather shove an LTT screwdriver deep into my ear canal than sit through it!

Having said that, I still think a screwdriver is a very subjective thing that you need to try out in person before committing to, some of the most comfortable screwdrivers I've ever used have been cheap supermarket own brand ones, and the more expensive drivers I haven't been able to grip!

I used to work night shifts, my fav. time of day was really early morning: going home while everyone was still asleep, streets practically dead quiet, depending on the time of year it was still dark or already daylight. Great time being alone out and about. It was around 6-7AM, sometimes even earlier. (I worked in public transport then, not anymore though)

Since I switched to using an elasticated 'knitted' style belt where you can just stick the pointy thing through anywhere on the belt, I don't think i could go back to a 'standard' belt.

Having it stretchy means it's super comfortable when I'm standing and sitting (something which I've never found with standard belts), and being able to infinitely adjust it means I don't end up with the inevitable position of being in-between hole sizes

I learned on Premiere at school and still have my totally legit copy of CS6 from back in the day, although for my personal projects I typically used Sony Vegas because I found it quicker.

Having said that, I've been trying to transition over to Resolve but the learning curve has been a lot bigger than I originally expected. The basics are the same, but the UI is quite a bit different. The main issue I've had with Resolve has been it's apparent hatred for AMD APUs, it's a buggy mess on my 4300u laptop!

Premiere is my last hold-out with Adobe, I've fully transitioned to Affinity Photo and Designer from Photoshop and Illustrator, and I've dabbled a bit with Affinity Publisher for a few projects, but I never really tried out InDesign so that was starting from scratch.

They likely didn't have servers provisioned for it, so "phoning apple" was likely someone text-chatting with whoever had the access, because it was likely intended to be used by the repair depot, not end users.

I've been through quite a few wallets in the last few years, and here are my preferences.

    Material:
Genuine leather, I've yet to try a faux leather/alternative material wallet that is as comfortable in the pocket as a genuine leather one. I've found every synthetic material I've tried kept its original shape whereas genuine leather wallets soften. I'm not against using an alternative material, but it either has to soften with use, or be designed in such a way that there are no harsh edges.

    Size:
I prefer square-ish wallet, my current wallet is 11x9cm which I think is perfect. As I'm in the UK, our bank notes do vary in size, and a wallet of that size fits notes up to £20 (I've never tried a £50) with no issue.
It has a flippy section on the left which holds an extra 2 cards on the front, and an ID card on the inside which I use for my driving license, something like that. It has 8 card slots, which are all filled, and some are even doubled up with less used cards.

One thing that I've found limited with men's wallets is the lack of coin space, they're always in a really awkward spot which makes it difficult to get the coins in and out.
While coins are becoming less necessary, I always keep small things like sim removal tools in there.

I also find having 2 bank note sections is essential, I use one for bank notes, and one for receipts/notes

In terms of sealing, I'd rather have it left open, with only a coin space sealed.

I wonder if the Steam Deck's gyros and touch enabled joysticks play a role in this. They might be the reason why they chose this over any other device. This is actually a lot more interesting than you guys think.

That actually sounds really handy, just gave it a download to try.

The descriptions seem to be quite accurate although it seems to have picked up my Echo Show as 'linux', my Echo Dots and Echo Flexes as 'generic'.

My Echo proper's MAC address though doesn't even show up in the app despite being connected to the same network and showing up in my router's list,
It's also picking up a device that doesn't show in the router's connected devices list.

And, while not a complaint. I must say the symbol for doorbell looks a bit... you know...

I definitely think they need to come out with a range of wallets to suit different people.

For reference, this is the exact wallet I have.
It was £4.99 and I picked it up like 2 years ago because my wallet was stolen and I needed a replacement straight away! Turns out it's actually way better than the wallet I had previously!
It's genuine leather and has 8 card slots but I've doubled some of them up because I have far too many cards (4 Debit, 2 Credit, Costco, Halfords Trade, 'Student' ID, Tesco Clubcard, Nectar card plus a few more that I only carry when I'm going to specific places)

The coin slot is also very useful, but like I said, it's a faff to get coins (or other things) in and out. But for the coin slot, I'd definitely prefer a zip over Velcro or a snap fastener because every time I've had a wallet with those they've failed and money has gone flying!

I have the 512 gb Steamdeck. I have probably used it for less than 10 hours total. Not a huge fan, gives me a bit of a headache looking at it for some reason. Without a case it makes my pinky fingers cramp. I have the Project Killswitch case and that makes it much better to hold. However, using it in that case means the official steam deck dock won't work. I guess that's what I get for getting a controller oriented console even though I don't like controller.
