Back in the day, a team used to be a group of friends togheter with a few sponsors playin tournaments.
 
Things are changing are teams are now owned by someone or a group of people and they manage the team. It's common for a team to have different game segments like TeamLiquid, etc.
 
It's kind of sad because most likely, in the future, players won't share the prize from tournaments (just like a football, soccer, basketball, etc team doesn't share the money they win with the players), rather, the team owner(s) will get it. But there's also a good side of it, maybe it will help the e-sports scene get more "professional" and grow even more.
 
When you're a kid you might dream of becoming a football player, maybe in the future kids will dream of becoming professional e-sport players 

Just in case you end up getting an SSD, I'd get either the MX100 or 840 EVO. Best bang for the buck right there.

There's about 10-20% performance increase going from the 290 to 970 depending on the game and a $75 difference.
Keep in mind with the 290 you get Never Settle Gold and Civilization 6. and with the 970 you get to choose one of Assassins Creed Unity, Farcry 4 and The Crew.

Okay so many dorm mates and my suite mate have the Mamba. And I got myself the DeathAdder.
 
I only got the DeathAdder because I tried the Mamba and it feels so amazing, it's got the perfect shape, for my taste at least. However, it's kind of heavier than the DeathAdder, probably because of the battery, but it has a cool dock to place it and it's got an amazing battery life. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the awesome rubberized sides the DeathAdder has (it's... different in a worse way) so there's that.
 
If you have a laptop or like to use your mice on your bed or whatever, it's a great choice. If you don't need the flexibility to use it "anywhere", then I don't see a point to get it.
 
I myself had to make this choice a couple of weeks ago and I understood that I will never use my mouse+keyboard to play any game anywhere but on my table.
So I don't need an amazing wireless mouse to play games, therefore I have a $15 wireless mouse to use it when I need the wireless feature.
 
There's also the price difference... I'd say the Mamba isn't worth it, unless you really would like/need the wireless feature. If it's gonna sit all day long on your table, no meaning IMO.

Started watching Ao No Exorcist and it's a lotta fun so far.

Looking forward to BenQ's response to the ROG Swift. I'd rather go TN panel 1440p @144hz g sync than 4k IPS @60hz g sync.

I sleep about 4~5 hours per night on weekdays. Engineering ain't for everybody .

128GB is not enough space. Trust me.
 
I'd say get either MX100 or 840 Evo with 250 or 500GB space.
 
   
I believe the 256 was suggested the most because RAID 0 for SSDs isn't really needed as it's fast enough already in the regular way and 128GB just isn't enough space for someone that has many games/programs in the SSD.

Same thread posted a few days ago... you probably need at least a toaster.

In terms of power, your PSU is just fine. You might need to buy some other cables to power up your new video card when you get it but then you just do a quick research and find out if you'll need them or not.
 
Just as a side note, I like to think like this: 4690k + 980 > 4790k + 970, for gaming, if money is an issue.

Try letting it burn in first. The HyperX Cloud was based off a headphone originally intended for music listening, not gaming. Your old headset also had nearly half the impedance and higher sensitivity. This is why they can go louder on their own, might need more juice to really drive them to their potential. Regardless, even headsets marked as surround, you're still blasting sound  to two channels (your ears), doesn't matter if you have multiple drivers or it's simulated. But it's understandable that you were used to a different sound signature. Myself, I prefer solid stereo for headphones and surround for actual speaker set ups.
