why do you keep buying those games if your PC is so far from being able to run them?

you can put al in one for a normal speaker, but the range wont be as wide, as the speaker needs to be way louder and bigger, which makes it tougher to hit high notes.
in headphones the speakers are smaller and dont produce as much sound, making it easier to hit all notes

my guess would be the PSU, mine is starting to let go, if its not kept super clean my pc crashes under load.

Never said headphones are inferior to speakers. Both have their uses and it's hella fun to annoy pesky neighbors, specially when they're twits. Also good for drowning out their horrible taste in music.
There are good headphones out there, but they're generally quite expensive

    No, no, no

Just build in a clean area and use an esd wrist strap. That all you need.
If you don't have a wrist strap just touch a metal desk or even the case to discharge any static.
Components these days are less susceptible to static shock
Connecting power to the system while your installing components is more likely to cause damage then you would be.
You can build on carpet if you want.

none really except for sound and hdcp, some games dont play nice with ultra wide, overwatch comes to mind. but they are awesome when all is working well.

i may have missed it but does it come with the side panel? from what i understand, you are in love with the case and want better parts in it?

    1) nothing is good in that case, at all
    2) if it is your dream case and you are handy, you can take the case apart, paint the metal black, putty the holes and repaint all the plastic whatever color you like

No need to be, I click on the wrong quote.
Fine water cooling belongs in a museum, everything else can do to the bin. And that audigy front console won't work without its sound card and specialized IDE cable.

Z270 is a dead end at this point.  7700k is as good as it will ever get.  If you don't want Ryzen, then wait till 8700K comes out.

just noticed you will only complete the build in a few months, just put the money aside and buy it then, prices will drop, new tech will come out and you will have less trouble returning something if you made a mistake.

i believe black bars, and it should be the monitor that handles that, if a program only runs at 16:9

I tried to argue that it would still be valid for an episode of Useless Tech Over $100 since the two cables had totally different claims.

yup, i know you are not interesting in playing at ultra settings but getting a card like the 1050 now that can't max out 1080p games will hurt you down the road.
In a few years a gtx 1060 will still be going strong at med+ settings
