  1. Actually, you should be able to plop it right here: script_dir = os.path.dirname(os.path.abspath(__file__)) data = json.load(open(os.path.join(script_dir, 'config.json')))
  2. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51520/how-to-get-an-absolute-file-path-in-python
  3. I'm going to assume you mean without formatting the old ssd, and not the new one, as you'll definitely have to format the new drive to copy the partitions over from the old one. I would recommend you take a look at this article, seeing as it may not be entirely in your best interest depending on the cloning software. (I've personally never had a problem cloning drives). TL;DR: Use Acronis True Image
  4. The last three Windows 10 Pro keys I've bought on SCDKey for 15$ and I've never had a problem with any of them.
  5. Better to buy a computer that actually works for what you want it for for a year than to buy a new piece of junk that won't ever do what you want for the same price.

Have you restarted since you changed the password? Do a normal restart with the software button from the start menu, and that should fix it if you haven't restarted yet.
  7. With 2500, at minimum, one GTX 1080Ti. Something like: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/MbCbt6

If google chrome is signed into your google account, just go to passwords.google.com
  11. Your original post mentioned nothing about RAID so I made no assumptions... From the Linux Mint forums, but it should be identical on Ubuntu. https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=129866 TL;DR: In linux, try the following: sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install mdadm sudo mdadm --assemble --scan

  13. Can you make a new user that's a local account that isn't a part of the family safety? If you can do that, then there's possibly a workaround to convert your account off the family safety with the adult, since you have admin access.
  14. You're setup as the child.... Do you have administrator access?
