  1. Okay so today I was just chilling on the computer in discord with apex (main menu) running on my other monitor and my entire room went out, the breaker tripped for some odd reason I turned the computer on after handling the breaker, and everything looked fine, but I did notice that now in apex I get micro-stutters that I didn’t notice before I ran 3DMark and ran a few of their different tests and got no stutters, FPS drops (other than expected scenery change FPS drops) not even clock issues So idk wtf is going on I got paranoid of anything happening again cause im only running my PC on a regular grounded surge protector, so I went to Best Buy and got a 1500VA 900Watt UPS Now I wasn’t paying much attention until after swapping to the UPS but when I usually turn off the switch in the back of the PSU it takes a little second for the mobo lights to turn off, but now when I hit the switch in the back everything is off immediately. In my head I’m thinking shit like maybe the power outage ruined the capacitors in the PSU so it isn’t functioning normal. Is this something normal? Is the UPS causing this? or is the PSU always suppose to have that leftover draining period?
  2. I haven’t tested that yet, but I did check the ram kits and there are different timings and version numbers which can definitely explain this happening I went ahead and this time ordered a full 4 kit instead of buying a 2 kit at random times at bestbuy
  3. If I remove the 2 new sticks I got and revert back to only have 2 sticks instead of 4 everything is stable and fine
  4. CPU: 10900k OC 5GHz on all cores RAM: x4 16gb Vengeance RGB PRO 3200MHz XMP 1 Motherboard: ASUS Strix Z490-E (On The Latest BIOS Firmware) The issue I’m having currently is after adding 2 extra ram cards, my system became unstable I was able to make it stable once again but I had to increase my DRAM voltage to 1.43v I did a little research and I believe that my RAM is B-Die and I guess is safe all the way to 1.5v but I’m not 100% sure on this. I tried messing with the VCCIO and System Agent voltages while using the suggested XMP 1 DRAM voltage (1.35v) and nothing worked I had started from 1.40v on both VCCIO and SA and worked my way all the way down to 1.15 and no increment worked and was still unstable. I only really know the CPU side of overclocking and whatnot, but when it comes to RAM causing instability I have very limited knowledge. im not entirely sure if messing with my RAM timings would solve this, but if it can, can someone please help me with this? Because I don’t even know where to start with doing that.
  5. Gonna try a few things and make re-installing my last resort, i'm kind of making it my mission to fix this issue so others that have this issue can have a documented fix So I managed to update my PC by using windows upgrade assistant so that works xD
  6. Just did all this right now, and restarted the computer gonna try to update and see if this works.
  7. Remove the GPU driver from device manager and tell it to completely delete driver files, then uninstall from the control panel. Reboot and install latest drivers and see if that fixes it. Also how are your temps?
  8. A couple years back I bought my PC off my friend and he told me he used a “HWID” spoofer on it and ever since he removed the spoofer he was never able to update the computer successfully. I’m sort of in a bind because I’m sure an easy way out would be to just re-install windows but I’m trying my hardest to avoid that cause I really don’t wanna reinstall all the stuff I have installed already. I’ve tried doing a lot of things, I even followed some guides online but naturally nothing helps Current Version information: The Windows update troubleshooter that I run after the "Undoing Changes" completes gives me this I even took the liberty of going into the Services, and setting the “BITS” service to automatic and it still keeps undoing changes. Here are some guides I followed: https://www.technipages.com/windows-10-undoing-changes-made-to-your-computer https://helpdeskgeek.com/help-desk/how-to-fix-we-couldnt-complete-the-updates-error-in-windows/amp/ If anyone could possibly help me solve this issue without reinstalling windows I’d be absolutely grateful.
  9. It was surprisingly the TV, I was attempting to watch Netflix on the actual TV smart app and none of the videos were loading and when that was happening so after I decided to switch to HDMI for my PC and that’s when the distorted image happened. So I ended up rebooting the TV in the settings menu for the TV and it fixed the issue. So in short my TV had a seizure and just needed a reboot.
  10. So recently I had got a 4k TV as my third display for my setup and was working fine for a bit and now all of a sudden it looks like this How its connected Main Gaming Monitor > Display port > GPU Elgato > HDMI > GPU TV > Display Port to HDMI cable > GPU Obviously most GPU's only come with 1 HDMI port so I gave the Elgato game capture the HDMI port and opted in for a Display port to HDMI cable for the TV Not sure if this has anything to do with using a adapter like cable, or if its something else someone might have figured out. But again it was working for a bit but I haven't done anything different that would have caused it to stop all of sudden. Specs: Intel i9-9900k OC 5.0ghz All core | CPU 1080Ti FE | GPU Asus Z490-E | MOBO RM850i | PSU
  11. Damn shit is just annoying especially when streaming, but I guess having a stream deck would be a good work around
  12. Not entirely sure why this is only an issue with Apex Legends but if I play using Borderless Window and have Chrome or anything open on my TV the game will Stutter and act as if its low FPS The fix for this is choosing Fullscreen but I don't like using Fullscreen as it's easier to switch to other applications, if I do Fullscreen and ALT-Tab my displays turn off and on for few seconds which is annoying especially if I switch applications frequently while gaming. Anytime I have MW open on Fullscreen Borderless my FPS is fine and can have whatever open on my TV Is there any fix for this for Apex Legends? BTW my TV is 4k 60hz, and my gaming monitor is 144hz 2k
  13. Tried switching it up and still no luck, with the TV using the HDMI to Displayport (Cable and Adapter) I get no signal or it flickers the signal on and off. Edit: So I tried using my Display Port to HDMI cable and managed to get all 3 displays working, im assuming the adapter I got was just trash. Now just ordered a new DP to HDMI Cable that can support 4k 60hz
  14. I tbh didn’t try running the adapter on the TV yet and I have the HD60 S
  15. I ended up fixing the issue my stupid self only had the FPS set to 30FPS on my gaming comp so it wasn’t projecting 60FPS to my other computer
  16. Currently I have a 1080Ti FE Here's what is connected to my graphics card Gaming monitor 144hz - Display port Vizio 4k 60hz - HDMI Elgato Capture Card - HDMI to Display port (only reason for the conversion is I don't have 2 HDMI ports on the GPU) Everytime I boot windows up, my monitors start to disconnect and reconnect for about 10 seconds or so and sometimes my Elgato capture card doesn't show up on NVIDIA control panel. Not entirely sure if it's normal for when you boot your computer for the displays to do this every single time.
  17. On twitch the stream quality is really good just not 60FPS, and I haven’t paid much attention to the preview on OBS which I should test to see if that’s picking up 60FPS
  18. Not sure why this is happening I have my capture card setup properly and when I stream my actual streaming FPS definitely isn’t 60FPS its more like 30FPS and I’m getting no warnings or frame drops in Streamlabs on my streaming PC My internet upload - 23.8mbps Resolution - 1080p Encoder - x264 Rate Control - CBR Bitrate - 6000kbps Key frame Interval - 2 Preset - Fast Profile - High Streaming PC i7-7700k OC 5.0ghz MSI 660Ti 2x 8gb (16gb) Vengeance 3200MHz M.2 250GB 970 EVO SSD (Windows) 1 TB 860 EVO SSD
  19. Even when I don’t do anything my clocks go up and down, does yours?
  20. Interesting, rn I’m stable running 1.330v on adaptive mode and my Vcore will go to ~0.710v lowest and whatnot as well. Only thing is it doesn’t stay like that for long on idle it goes up and down consistently not sure if yours does
  21. Noticed you’re using offset mode vs adaptive Why is that?
  22. Whats up everyone need your help, I had a i7-7700k that was OC to 5.0ghz on adaptive mode and achieved that fairly easy. im not use to the 10900k does anyone know the steps to get a adaptive OC for it? Do i still follow this? Adaptive Mode - Enabled Additional Turbo Voltage - Whatever is tested to be stable Offset - Auto AVX Offset - 0 Load Line Calibration - Level 5 IA AC/DC - 0.01 C-States - Enabled Speed-Step - Enabled
  23. Not sure what exactly NIVIDIA's FE 1080ti default fan specs are but obviously they aren't what is needed to keep my card below 81C
