So if I were to change my RAM, as well as the PSU, what would you suggest for the changes?

Huh, so would the new Ryzen 3000 need a newer mobo or can I still use the B450 or is it still unspecified?

Yeah I plan to use the SSD as the boot drive And the Ryzen 3000 is releasing sometime in June right?

So my budget for a new build is around 700$ (would like to go a bit lower if possible) and the games that I normally play are just CS:GO, Overwatch, GTA V, and sometimes Hunt:Showdown (very unknown game imo). My question is 1. Will this be able to support 144hz gaming (specifically in CS) 2. Will there be any small changes that can lower the price of the build 3. I tried to boot up without the RAM sticks, and there was no response. So the best thing for me to do right now seems to be calling MSI or trying the CMOS

My brother has a new system that has these specs: MSI B350 Gaming Plus Ryzen 3 2200 G 8Gs Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM No GPU He has been having a lot of problems with boot up as the computer will turn on, but the monitor will give a no signal. He had this problem earlier on, but it turned out to be the motherboard since the motherboard had the wrong BIOS to support the APU. So he sent it to MSI to get a BIOS update, and then built his system with no issues. Now the computer won't boot and I don't know what exactly is causing it. My two guesses are the motherboard OR the RAM. I'd gladly appreciate any help I can get, thank you!! ^v^

The fan does function, just maybe the 7 year old thermal paste

Yes I have the stock cooler installed, so the best thing to do is to replace the current thermal paste?

I am using a Intel Core i7 975 extreme @3.33Hz Whenever I start gaming competitively at games like CS:GO, the CPU will jump from about 50 degrees to about 70 degrees. Then it will jump to low 80's and soon hit 90 and shut down My two ideas to fix this is to reapply new thermal paste or replacing my fans, but my fans seem to be good.

I have a i7 975 extreme edition and when running any games it will be running within the temperatures of 80-84 degrees, which is bad, but how can I fix it?? Also, I am using a Dell Studio XPS 435t/9000

I have a Dell Studio XPS 435t/9000. I am wondering if the mother board can support a 1050ti. I'm pretty sure the PSU in it is a 300W.

Would this be a good idea, I plan to take out my GPU and run a game and see if the GPU is what is causing the crashes. But would that be ok and afterwards do I have to reinstall drivers after putting the GPU back?

Ok, I used NZXT CAM to check my spec temps during gaming, and what I'm seeing is that the GPU fan doesn't even spin. Also these temps are from when I'm streaming a video from YouTube.

The GPU would jump to about 87C and the CPU jumps to about 76

If I were gaming, I have to do it quickly since I know that my computer will restart very soon.

Basically any game I play does this, and it basically plays for about 3 minutes or so and then the screen turns black and my whole PC restarts.

So there is no problem with the PSU? Also what is the best way for me to dust out my computer
