  1. Hi all, I first had this problem a couple of weeks ago - everything working fine no issues at all and suddenly Shadow of the Tomb Raider won't load fullscreen anymore. It just shows a black screen, you can still hear the game but no visuals. If you alt-enter into windowed you can see everything again but alt-enter back to full screen and it goes black again. Also even more strangely when you try and go into display settings in game it just freezes and crashes. Thought it might be some kind of driver issue (even though everything had been working fine and there was no driver update before the issue started) - uninstalled all drivers and started again. Couple of weeks later and I'm back with the same problem again - Watch Dogs Legion has been running fine all week, nothing changed, no driver updates, nothing. Then this afternoon just won't load into fullscreen - again just get the black screen and can hear the game but can't see it. Again it will let me alt-enter into windowed mode and see it but try and go fullscreen again and it all breaks. Anyone got any ideas? I'm wondering if it is the card - 2070 super - but it seems to run Flight Sim 2020 without any issues at all and has done since August and all of that is all still working! Any suggestions welcome!!
  2. Sorry all for failing to add some important info there, buying in the UK budget is mid range I’m willing to spend a bit as I only do these upgrades every few years. Was considering RTX cards for the graphics upgrade potentially. Ryzen 5 3600 also something I’ve been looking at seems like a good option. New motherboard is definitely on the list as current one is a cheap MSI one that’s why I didn’t list it as I’m more than happy to replace it!
  3. Hi all, I'm considering an upgrade as it's been a good few years now - mainly just to get the best out of upcoming titles this year. I'm thinking of doing CPU first and then graphics at a later date but happy to consider. Details of current rig below, any advice would be appreciated! Intel Core i5-6500 16GB DDR4-3200 GTX 1060 6GB Thanks!
  4. Anyone used a HDMI audio extractor to get audio from an amazon fire tv 4k? I’m currently looking into options for this, any suggestions?
  5. I’m looking for some kind of Bluetooth remote that can be used to control the volume on my pc when it’s in use for media etc - anyone got any suggestions on something that would work for this?
  6. Yea all very true - it is next on the list to be replaced as you say it has been neglected a bit!!
  7. Yep had it a very long time but it still seems to be going strong!!
  8. Thanks guys - sorry for missing out the dual rail bit!! Would have been helpful >.<
  9. CPU is an i5-6500 PSU spec is here: http://imgur.com/yCYTlNJ
  10. 12V rail is 18A There's no overclock on it, will try and underclock to see if it fixes anyway and RMA it. Thanks for the confirmation guys, much appreciated
  11. I've got an issue with my MSI GTX 1060 3gb that has shown up over the last couple of days. I've started to see red, blue and green light flashes sometimes when playing games - see the video below, this was taken when benchmarking trying to find the issue. I ran three benchmarks with Heaven and on two out of three the issue occurred. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-ib6437tpyoQnVGM2NEdVhjQTQ/view This has been happening randomly when playing games and sometimes resulting in them crashing but it is not consistent after taking that video I then ran fallout 4 without issue for over an hour. I've also had discussions with people about this being a potential power issue - as my psu is now very old - I've used CPUID to monitor voltages and all of them seem stable so I'm not sure. Anyone suggest if this looks like graphics or power faults? Thanks for any help
