Intel HD Graphics reacted to TheKDub in Will price of 7700k drop within next two months?
Not likely. If you're needing to get one for cheaper, try Microcenter if you have one near you. They usually have pretty decent discounts on CPUs.
Edit: Don't bother upgrading unless you specifically need the extra threads. For something like gaming, you're perfectly fine with the 6600K, even with a GTX 1070.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Darren319 in Message for Linus
Hey Linus, I just wanted to ask if you could have an app made for these forums. It would make it a lot easier instead of having to go to the website all the time. Thanks ?

Intel HD Graphics reacted to IKnight in Where to put 3 rgb strips
It's typical to put them on the top.
Not sure what you could do about the other 2 but I suppose you can put them on the left and right.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Mick Naughty in ASUS GTX STRIX 1080 BAD?
Asus makes the cards, not the gpu’s. Also a lot of people rma because they don’t understand tech and their card didn’t do the same as someone’s on YouTube. Or they simply can’t use a computer correctly.
This card was used to break the record at the time the third party cards came out, so it’s good for something.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to CryptoMatt in Best way to mount PSU ?
Well it depends if your case is top mount of bottom most are bottom now so I assume that’s what you have

Intel HD Graphics reacted to 3rrant in ASUS GTX STRIX 1080 BAD?
With the cost they have right now, I'd consider buying it only in the 400-450€ range, which they are a lot away from.
Waiting is, imho, a good choice right now.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Rackooo in What is the better 1080 ( Asus strix vs Gigabyte aorus)
Like Jurrunio said it just for allowing more power draw for "more overclocking headroom". Kind of overkill as he said, since the chip itself probably wont overclock as far to use all that power.
Just go with the one that looks better to you, you wont notice any performance difference, and if there is any it is negelable.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Jurrunio in What is the better 1080 ( Asus strix vs Gigabyte aorus)
Extra power connectors allow drawing more power, but both have overkill amount. Keep in mind that the reference 1080 has 1 8pin

Intel HD Graphics reacted to HZapperz in What to upgrade with 300$nzd$
Sell the 1050ti, and get a 1070, I had a 1050ti and upgraded to a 1070, IT WAS AMAZING.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to r4tch3t in What to upgrade with 300$nzd$
The power supply is fine. Save a bit more and sell the 1050 and get a 1070. I am running a similar build with a1070 on a 550w corsair.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Princess Luna in How does CPU die of age?
The silicon on the CPU simply gets wear down until electricity doesn't really go through it properly any more.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to kb5zue in Pc making creaking sound ?
To listen to a specific part of the machine, use a long handled screwdriver. Place the tip of the screwdriver on the specific part you want to listen to and then place the handle of the screwdriver up against your ear. Sometimes it helps too if you place the handle of the screwdriver just behind the ear against the bone.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Riles in Will i still get the audio enhancements from my motherboard if i use usb headset
So as I understand it, you already own the cloud headset. If that is the case then from what I gather from the link you supplied, the mic is part of the aux cord. if you don't have enough length for it to connect to the audio out port on the back of your pc, then you can buy an extension. https://www.amazon.com/HDE-Female-Socket-Auxiliary-Extension/dp/B007ZHM81K is an example of what you could get, but I wouldn't get one so long. the usb for the cloud is just an extra thing they add in. who knows you might like the sound profile and features of the usb connector over the built in sounds card. Also the website offers videos on how to use the product.

Just because it can boot doesn't mean there aren't any issues. Please follow the instructions in your manual.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Drak3 in Is it possible to overclock a non gaming laptop?
I believe only HK/HQ SKUs support overclocking officially, and your laptop's manufacturer will advertise any overclocking capability.
-
Intel HD Graphics reacted to Drak3 in Is it possible to overclock a non gaming laptop?
If your BIOS and processor allow for it, yes. If not, you would have to mod it.

Intel HD Graphics reacted to Teddy07 in i7 7700k vs i7 6700k
dont buy 6th gen intel cpus anymore without a good deal. The difference is 5-10% but buying "old" stuff is not worth it still.

Intel HD Graphics got a reaction from Pachuca in safe to buy used PSU?
Personally, i would not buy a used psu from an unknown sorce. The reason being is that it could be faulty and could fry your hardware. Make sure you know that is is working and get a demo on it on some other hardware before you use it
