  1. I have a Ryzen AMD based system that I use for everyday things and gaming. My CPU currently is a 2600X with updated B350 motherboard and my GPU is a RX 480 8GB. I was looking to upgrade my gpu to a RTX 3070, so will my cpu bottleneck something as powerful as a 3070? or should I upgrade my CPU and Motherboard first? The motherboard I have is a B350 from MSI with an updated BIOS to support Zen+.
  2. Right now I have AMD driviers for my RX 5700XT. But I am selling my old GTX 1080 and the guy wanted to see it work so I would take out my 5700XT and put back my 1080 so the buyer can see that it works. Would installing Nvidia drivers on my system that already has a AMD drivers installed work? I mean having both AMD and Nvidia drivers? I am not trrying to have the gpus work at the same time just one. I dont really like to uninstall and install my AMD drivers all over again than if I have to.
  3. Im trying to decide to get a RX 5700 XT or a RTX 2070 Super. But I keep reding in comments and user reviews about how horrible the drivers are for the RX 5700 series such as games crashing and BSOD's. Did AMD get most of the problems fixed as of today Dec 2019? I want to get my friend either a 5700xt or 2070s for christmas.
  4. I recently nabbed a GTX 1080 on Ebay used for $200 plus $12 Shipping. Will this let me play games in 1080p 75Hz for the next two years maybe upwards to 2021? In High to Ultra? I could have gotten a RX 5700 or the XT variant but seen this card in Ebay. Im pairing it with a R5 1600X and 16Gb 2400 DDR4 Ram.
  5. Thank you! I will definitely try those if I start getting problems with the memory.
  6. Will any DDR4 3000 or 3200 Ram work right of the box with this Mobo? Like this one for example, https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-32GB-3000MHz-Memory-Systems/dp/B014UYPEXE/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=32gb+ddr4&qid=1569823478&s=gateway&sr=8-4 This is my B350 motherboard with a R5 2600X. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B350M-GAMING-PRO/Specification It says O.C in 2667,3000 and 3200 and I dont know what that means. I only have a 2400Mhz 16Gb kit right now.
  7. Anyone know the steps or links that I can look? My current SSD that has a Windows 10 Pro license installed is only 120GB and currently have only 36Gb of free space left. I am getting a SSD that is 480Gb.
  8. I believe you I'm just going to buy the risen 5 processor. There's a microcenter and it is way cheaper than a i5.
  9. What I do is gaming in 1080p and with one or two Firefox tabs open mainly YouTube playing music while gaming. Can a 6 core 6 thread handle that? Or just save some money and get a 6c/12t CPU? Here's the rest of the build GTX 1080 8gb 16Gb DDR4 2400 2×8GB 128gb SSD Bootdrive 2tb HDD Storage Power spec 650w 80 plus Gold PSU I'm upgrading from a i3 7100 and a GTX 1050 Ti
  10. Oh Okay didnt know that. Evwerything runs fine in game but this is the first game that used over 6gb on my 2yo gtx 1080.
  11. I have a GTX 1080 and a R5 2600x playing on 1080p with Ultra settings and I see that my 1080 is 100% used and Vram is little over 6gb. Does this happen with new game releases that has not yet a update? Im using MSI Afterburner. The game says it recommends 4Gb Vram but Im well past it.
  12. Im getting this ram G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 2 x 8GB DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL16 Because I heard that the first gen ryzen having troublwe with memory speeds.
  13. This is a new card and I was playing Witcher 3 on Ultra Settings and AC Unity on Very High preset and I noticed that my 1080 runs upward to 82-83 degrees celsius while in both games it is utilized 100% of the time. I only play for a couple of hours with each game. But at idle when my PC isnt doing anything intensive it sits at 39-40 degrees. Should I worry about the temperature while playing these games? I also noticed the fan goes at 90-100% too playing these two games. But there was no decreased performance since I get 60+ FPS on both games. I have this card Zotac GTX 1080 Mini 8Gb
  14. Which CPU would be a good match for a RTX 2080 Ti, a R5 2600X or a i5 8600K or 9600k? Im will use a 2560x1440p 144Hz monitor with triple A games at Ultra settings.
