Sorry for a late response but yes they work @ 3200mhz on B350 and X370 from ASUS. Just installed a 3200 32GB G.Skill RGB kit that works out of the box but is advertised as a Ryzen kit i checked the die's they are Hynix A-Die's

Go to Apple HQ and hook the nipples of the board of directors to a car battery. That should provide enough incentive.

Hello coming to seek advice with my overclock i keep getting a VGA error. When i boot up @ 3.9ghz with 1.375v with the memory @ 3200 it will boot just fine. Now when i dail in 40.0 with the same volts i get a white Q-LED, increasing VCORE and SOCK will do the same. At different settings, the Q-LEDS do sometimes cycle but in general, the boot hangs at a white Q-LED that indicates a VGA error. These settings, however, vary and may in one instance cycle and in a 2nd attempt gives a white Q-LED. I have a 1080ti from ASUS that is running at stock settings atm i do have overclocking profiles but i double checked they are not in use. My PSU is a G3 VGA 750 and my build on partpicker.com is rated @ 554w no way this can be the problem. This VGA is running of 2 dedicated lines and does not use a splitter on a single line. The BIOS is a 1001 from last week, i only recently got the 1600X i had a 1600 that ran roughly the same settings but swapping out a CPU could not cause a VGA error as far as i know. What am i missing, the limit of my cpu is not reached by any means i am using pretty low volts to get to 3.9hgz. Has anyone ever come across this problem? My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qmnpf8

Programming and light Gaming 1080p
HisEvilness replied to SiriusPR's topic in New Builds and Planning
Get a ASUS X370 Prime good VRM's for R7 i even a X370 Gaming for a R5 overclocked much more stable and more storage options. A SSD is nice i use one for my PvP games but if you need storage it sucks, check out the Seagate Barracuda 1/2TB drives.- 23 replies

Yeh I am aware of this but i am not crazy on the OC either, well the chip is good and does not take a lot of MV and I did validate it. I am now running a lower Mhz on the RAM see if that helps though, the screens do go black but do not lock up the whole PC when testing ram OC. Running is at base frequency when it boots I will have to manually apply a preset OC when i star gaming on a ROG Strix 1080ti.

Got any idea how I can troubleshoot this?

For some reason, my screens went black during watching some YT vids, while nothing was hogging any PC resources in the background. I had to reset my PC 2 days ago since there is this weird windows bug that sets your screen to 64hz while being 60hz screens. Combined with watchdog timer errors that were attributed to a possible virus, but I just wiped the C drive and did a fresh install. This time my screen just went black and when attempting to shut down the PC with the power button or reset button the pc did not respond. I had to turn off the PC by using the PSU off/on the switch and boot up again what does without a problem. I am running an overlock on my AMD 1600 chip, but that was validated with Prime95 and Cinebench so it should be stable. 3.9Ghz @ 1.384mv on the chip with a 240 AIO cooler from Coolermaster. Google says a range of different things, could be the motherboard could be something else. Anyone here has any good idea's to figure out what is going on? Cheers,
