  1. might be cam? i have wwubfi64, as i saw it recomended but it seems far to advanced for me to understand the data in it. https://gyazo.com/7f3162a266e7aeb7e552170d00b0fb07 edit: gpu-z shows the same thing with fan https://gyazo.com/662e29f8a660f426de7f8d576bf6c361
  2. So today i went through found a few drivers out of date, (bluetooth and other random things) switched rocketleague to a different drive, tried dx9 again (that felt better but the spikes still happened) then finally returned to normal, turned v sync off, made sure discord had v sync off as well in the nvida control panel (read it on a post) i have v sync off g sync off, everything set to permance and im getting decent results with alot less frame drops. however i notced when i did get drops my graphics card was doing this with the fan https://gyazo.com/fb46bedfe389f4dacbb6664f8029d393
  3. this is one instance of what im experiencing, i tried moving all the setting around and v sync on and off, didnt notice much difference on the logs but i really dont know how to read them. top line is my fps, it normally is about an inch apart and drops down to 75 ish
  4. Okay, so what your saying is (is that the game is loading on cpu core with the stress and thats causing it to throttle or whatever?) sorry i dont understand much. and ill try a bunch of stuff, do you recomend me turning off the v sync in the nvidia setting then? and i will want no cores at 100%? could it be something with the mobo? argh im stressed lol
  5. How would I go about that? And v sync in game or v sync in the nvida panel
  6. https://gyazo.com/d59f392df8e80cde61110436b68644e0 im about to go eat dinner, i couldnt get it to act up again for some reason, i literally just got off and it was going crazy. but about last 6 seconds was me trying to ss it
  7. https://gyazo.com/66d717099a5410bb5f1b14d06ce4a956 i checked and it seems this cpu2 is almost always maxed out
  8. I’ll try the single thread thing you mentioned tomorrow. Should it be even across all? Or what should I look for? ive tried 120/144/200/244 I tried lower but I about died looking at a PowerPoint lol. None of those solved the issue
  9. I tried monitoring that and I didn’t see anything sus or it spiking.
  10. yeah it literally just happened. it seems as if its off and on, alot of times i completely restarted my computer and then didnt open anything and ramped fans up to 75 and it seemed to happen alot less. but it still happened so it was just a band aid.
  11. This pc was from a friend of mine, he originally ordered it from nzxt then upgraded the cpu gpu ram and 970 storage, yes i know the mobo is mini in blah blah blah. He is a trustworthy friend and ive known him sense we were kids, gpu cpu and 970 all have 3 year square trade warranty and was purchased from newegg. cpu - 9900k / nzxt kraken x52Specs gpu - asus 2080ti oc dual fan mobo - asrock z390m-itx/ac mini ITX (black) ram -32gb Gskill tridentz 3200 (2x16) psu - Seasonic focus 650w Gold storage - 860 evo 1tb/ 970 evo m.2 case - nzxt h500(white) moniter - acer predator xb2 Currently running 240 hz ( game set at 237 and locked) My problem is that sometimes it goes minutes without happening others it happens quite frequently. It really all started when rocket league switched from dx9 to dx 11. I noticed major tearing ect while playing, the tears or (whatever is happening on my pc) is happening at the same time the fps drops. I thought it was a g sync error and or g sync setup but even with completely removing those options and changing ingame settings to what a 20$ laptop could run im still getting these consistent dips, they range from 3-5 fps to 100 fps drops. Already tried but open to trying again -deleted everything and booted new windows form usb -ddu and reinstall -blurbust g sync setup - changing back to -dx9 in startup options -high priority on game -windows on power mode -windows on uiltimate power mode -There is probably more but i cant remember - deleted almost everything but the game steam and discord (using it to talk with friends) -completely blew out and cleaned pc free of dust -turning fans onto 75 + all time (helped a bit or so i thought but problem came back) Laugh all you want i know its overkill for the game i love, i tried to future proof any gaming en-devours i would go down. Before you ask -no i dont have any logs or screenshots -have any test results (i wiped in the pc reset whoops) -really any knowledge on pc troubleshooting -i used nzxt cam and the asus gpu tweak -max temps reach 50-60 while playing this game, -have other games, dont really play them that much or at all (forza horizen 4, snowrunner, gold with friends, pub g) Looking for any help really, a starting place would be nice. Ive had alot of friends try and "help" me and ive done a ton of shit but hey whats a little more lol. I know you'll need more information, if you would like me to do a common test and post results please just ask. I cba not being able to play rocket league off my 2080ti LMAo Please remember i am a noob XD thank you to everyone who does help in advance! edit: ive had problems all day, now all of a sudden everything is running smooth and crisp, maybe a small drop here and there but for the most part i just played 3 games with almost no hiccups or tears or anything, gsync was on. edit : 5 minutes later it started happening again. =[ happiness didnt last forever
  12. read it wrong, sorry. maybe get a dvi to displayport adapter? might be easier. rip looked those up they really only do 60hz... i used thunderbolt usb c on my laptop to transmit to my moniter but its also a laptop. not sure if you have that capability. thunderbolt usbc to displayport* maybe sell or take back your monitor for a new one?
  13. I checked earlier and those were all the processes that I had showed in the picture, I’m just worried about long term effects. it just didn’t seem right to be going up then right down immediately
  14. No over locks on anything though
  15. It’s a asus 2080ti dual og11
