yes thats pretty good  you can get a higher oc due to your card being able to go higher powerlimit wise. mine can only do 112% that 8% does allot

with my 2600x its not bad to oc it to all core 4.1 was pretty easy.
Lots of threads and cores.
Not bad temps wise with a cooler.

needs to use wisely a 400 series mobo But my mobo is very good. people often tell me to get the tomahawk but this one has given me 0 problems. its just a bit costly. 

nothing further,no issues with bios. but i still need to download latest version im running a bit of an older version however i have found 0 issues. you can also buy a 3000 series cpu and put it in this mobo and be fine without a bios update so thats pretty nice as well. 

i used to have a i5 7600 but this was the best upgrade i could have gotten. i mean.. it was on sale 190 euros. the i5 7600 costed 240 euros. It has less cores less threads less speed wise no oc capabilities. Its just shite compared to amd. 

I would say... get a 2000 series ryzen, either 2600x or 2700x and wait the 3000 series out a bit bios wise. 
 

I've move from 1080p 60z to 1440p 144hz with my gtx 1070 and gotta say its the best feeling ever
 
Been using it for a year now... its smooth, most games gotta put you know shadow to medium couple things like that and you're good, if you want full 144 fps in competitive fps or else you know you just go to whatever low settings you need to obtain it
 
still many games run full ultra too

Same problem at 76 degree it crashes

My bro had Avast installed and it trashed windows update for him. I myself use windows defender along with common sense; hence why i'm on here on a mac XD .... all jokes aside, if you use common sense windows defender is decent enough; dont download shady stuff, dont go to shady websites, dont torrent anything, and dont click on ads.

Now with the new crappy overpriced RTX serie I kept my 1070 so I guess I learned the lesson !

You answered your own question you need to take it apart cleaned all the fins on the heatsink  and fans And apply quality Thermal paste.

1070 is a bit overpowered for a 2600k.  Running an RX 470 on a 4.5ghz 2600k and still run into CPU limitations in quite a few cases.
 
If you are using 2560x1440 or above it would be a decent fit.

Nothing bad having a pagefile. You can have a 16GB pagefile and it doenst change anything in your system performance. Pagefile is only used if you run out of memory or for some specific process
 
Limiting pagefile to 500mb doesn't help or do anything, you should actually raise that to like 4GB unless you have limited space on your HDD/SSD

Twas a bad OC. Lowering it down to 3200 showed it again. Quite surprised I can even get this OC on a Ryzen 1000 with XMP on 4 DIMMs.

Depends on the map. On Rotterdam it can vary between 70-100% depending on what's going on. This lack of consistency is why I want to get something with more cores, as I think Battlefield 5 is really one of the games that tends to utilize them very well. Paired with the fact that I'd be getting higher clocks ( 4.6 vs 5.0 on the 8700K most likely. ) and I'm thinking it would really help out in those lowest gpu usage scenarios. Although reading up on things and looking at other people's replies the general consensus seems to be to wait for Ryzen 3000, which is probably the smartest move in all honesty.
