  1. Your ram will not create this kind of issue nor would a HDD. Even if 8 GB is not optimal, your games doesn't take up to 8 GB ram. Start by monitoring your ressources when you game. Report back with your GPU and CPU usage % while gaming.
  2. If you connected correctly your GPU to your motherboard, and then connect the display cable from monitor to motherboard entry, you will have no display.
  3. I recommand these and they are cheaper than your price tag : https://www.amazon.ca/HyperX-Gaming-Headset-Nintendo-Switch/dp/B00SAYCXWG/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1G9HLIDJ3IZKO&keywords=hyperx+cloud+2&qid=1554066256&s=gateway&sprefix=hyper%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-1 Very awesome headset
  4. 1200 watt PSU, Is this a nuclear central PC ? Anyway, hey is there any overclock settings ? Turn it back all to defaults. IF already done, try new RAM.
  5. Get both, maybe check also for Project cars 2 and Dirt 4
  6. Not much, reputated brand, thats all, Samsung evo is 5 years warranty and samsung pro is 10 years warranty, If I was you, since you are upgrading a 2010 pc from hdd to ssd, I would pick a WD 480 GB thats cheap and very good value, super fast, WD is okay brand, But to answer your questions, you can check all SSDs transfer rates speed, just compare read and write speed most of them are around the 500-550 mb range
  7. they all the same performance, the difference between the worst and the best is like 1% so just pick one you like try to get good fans/heatsink since it's mostlky the only factor to consider
  8. Im too high thanks for correcting me cheeers
  9. step 1 : boot in safe mode and execute DDU step 2 : boot normal mode and then install latest amd radeon officiel driver
  10. If you do it well it will erase all trace of drivers and registry keys etc.etc. and then you should have a clean install and it should work
  11. Driver Display Uninstaller : https://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/display_driver_uninstaller,1.html click on the link before it disappear
  12. You have to run in safe mode than run DDU then reboot in normal mode, install drivers from the radeon official amd website
  13. Edited : ok you have display can you try Driver Display uninstaller and then reinstall drivers ?
  14. linus has tested the 1660 in a video just youtube it youll find it and it's a bit less powerful than a 1070
  15. Get any i7 16GB ram SSD laptop from a brand you trust
  16. You can backup files but entire programs, not really, some yes, some no, hard to tell... Most of the time you have a savefile and what you do is just reinstall the program and then overwrite the savefile with your backup savefile maybe others can help if you state the programs names you are talking about
  17. I think that one works, isn't it only for linux ?
  18. I think you can only use like a drive of 10 GB maximum size for the free version I was doing my dad's swap from hdd to ssd and was lookin to clone it like you, but the search for a free program that would do the job for a 500gb cloning, ended up with no success, couldn't find one free that would do it ( searched for maybe 15 minutes haha ) so I gave up and juste did a fresh install and transferred back up, the result is better anyway, you will have a fresh windows
  19. Acronis True Image , but the free version is very limited and won't cut it... Beside, I don't know any, just do afresh install and transfer your back up... it's best.
  20. There is no way you see a difference between 1ms and 4 ms and actually play 60 hertz and feel like it's smooth.... no way... 60 hz is chunky and laggy af...
  21. You won't notice the difference, it's not possible for human eyes, And anyway most 1ms monitors are actually 2-3-4 ms don't worry about 1 ms or 4 ms just pick the one you want
  22. I use 6700k with gtx 1070 and theres no problem, no bottleneck, gpu being used at 100% in every games It's a bit OC'd tho... you should be good with the 1070ti nothing to worry about
