  1. I’m going to get the get a 970 pro gaming aura later next month so I just put my 4300 back in and had it going at 5.2Ghz but thanks for all your guys help anyway. You are some pretty helpful people. If I could +rep I would but I don’t know if that is possible
  2. I just tried to run the chip and I had the system shutdown while it was idle. I think I will put my old cpu in and buy another mobo asap. What mobo would you recommend for a good overclock and an vrm Heatsink that will keep everything cool
  3. I have some heatsinks coming in the post so i will put a san over them to keep them cool on the mean time. Cheers for all your advice
  4. So if I put the fx 8350 at stock frequency do you think it may happen if I cool the vrm with an overhanging fan
  5. So would I be ok if I placed a fan over all the vrm and kept the fans at high while my Passive Heatsink MOSFET Chipsink comes
  6. When I had my fx4300 running I had it at 5.2Ghz stable for about a year. From this could it seem that I can run the fx 8350 at stock without any issue. or did I just get pretty lucky
  7. Thanks I will order them now would I be able to use the system until the parts come. Also what will happen if the vrm get to hot ( worst case)
  8. I don’t want to overclock the chip until I get a better mobo or just a new system. i just want to run the fx 8350 at stock speeds under moderate loads
  9. Hey everyone I have a new fx 8350 on an Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0 and I have been reading a lot of comments that my VRM’s on my motherboard are not cooled by any heat sinks so overclocking would be a bitch. Does anyone have an ideas what I could do. My 240mm rad is above the motherboard with 2 coolermaster fans running at full speed above it pulling air into the case. Would this be enough to cool down my VRM’s or do I need something else. Thanks in advance.
  10. I have just bought an fx 8350 which I can easily get to 4.5Ghz over 8 cores so I think that this thread is now closed
  11. It very easily maintains 2*c I have it on water and I use hw monitor to monitor temps
  12. Hello everyone today I have a question for everyone who may be able to help me. My problem is that the WW2 Pc beta came out yesterday and my pc is struggling to cope with the intensity of the game. My gpu is sitting at 50% usage where as my cpu is maxing out. I need an over lock which will help me maintain the game with no lag. I have the cpu on water and regularly stays at 2*c when at default frequency. I am running it on an Asrock 970 R.2 Pro3 Thanks in advance
  13. That was a mental screw up on my autocorrect but thanks for the information and your suggestion.
  14. Hello everyone This is my second post on the ltt forums and I have found all the users to be most helpful Today I am here to ask what the best case is for an 240 mm Rad to be mounted what will cost me less then 50 GBP. I have a cooler master MasterLiquid pro 240 and I have made it fit into my cheap unbranded case by removing the drive mounts and taking as much unused holders as possible. But now I see the case as being unattractive and quite janky so I need another. thanks for any suggestions and inputs in advice. Thanks.
  15. Thank you I have just bought the cooler master Masterliquid pro 240 for 80 GBP on amazon. therefore this question has been answered. thankyou for all your help, Have a great day all.
