  1. I've read that the thermal performance for the new ZenBook Pro isn't great but has anyone actually experienced this for themselves? Does it thermal throttle a lot when gaming?
  2. Looking for people to play competitive CS with. I'm ranked silver 4 and I'm tired of all the people who don't try and can't hit a single shot in matchmaking. I'm not asking to be carried, just looking for some people who are decent (can aim) and understand basic mechanics of the game like map callouts, when to buy/save, what to buy etc. I play all maps currently on the active roster (Mirage, Inferno, Cache, Cobblestone, Nuke, Overpass, Train) I live in Australia and usually play between 11pm and 3am GMT. If your interested send me a friend request on Steam. My username is: dirtdowney
  3. Couple of questions regarding XPS 15 9560 battery as I haven't been able to find a definitive answer online. 1. How long does the 56whr battery last with a 1080p screen? 2. Is the 56whr battery replaceable with the larger 97whr battery?
  4. Looking for a thin and light laptop mainly for school use. I will be doing some light gaming; CS:GO or Skyrim would probably be the most demanding titles - not sure that I need a dedicated GPU. Battery life is important - I want to be able to go at least 5 or 6 hours without needing a recharge. Budget is around $1500 AUD but I'm slightly flexible here. No Macs please!
  5. A lot of reviews say that the 1050Ti is approximately 20% better but what kind of frame rates are we talking in games? Is the extra price justified or would I be fine with a regular 1050?
  6. My budget is pretty flexible - I'm willing to spend the extra cash if the Zenbook is worth it. Need a portable laptop for school/uni and regular gaming. Also don't want a laptop that stands out like a sore thumb like most gaming laptops do.
  7. Looking to purchase a new laptop and have narrowed it down to these two. The ZenBook is clearly the higher-end device but on paper these two look practically identical. Wondering if the extra cost for the ZenBook is worth it for the marginal increase in performance.
