Hi, it's been a long time since epicgames launcher has been reportedly using abnormal amounts of CPU usage. They said the have issued a quick fix for this, but i am still getting spikes from 45-85% CPU usage for just opening the launcher. Have you guys fix yours? NOTE: launcher is up to date, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Photo below to see abnormal usage compared to other game launchers

Windows build 19041.508 My Windows Security setting shows that the Virus and threat protection setting/tab says "no action needed" (screensnip A), but when i click manage settings all the toggle buttons are disabled and off(screensnip B) What and how can i do to fix this windows issue? Hi, I'm trying to cast my windows media (mp4/mp3 etc.) to our TV. To my surprise and disappointment it does not support the DLNA (picture below for reference) Now I am looking for a dongle or something that i can put into the TV, any suggestions? New system: installed gtx1050, works like a dead horse Friends system: have not tried my gtx1050 Friends system specs: same as my new system just with a r7 3700x My gpu can still output a display but it can't run any 3D type of program/software

How can that be? What are the causes? I have look in the pcb and nothing was burned or wrong with it(physically).

Cinebench r15 opengl and Heaven 1. Potato pc: runs with no problem 2. Potato pc after experiencing fragmentation: does not work. The second it load/runs the benchmark it automatically closes the program(please see video above to get a clearer idea) 3. New pc: same problem as #2 Dunno if this helps, but it can run furmark(the fuzzy donut of doom)

Hi there, Games usually played: Dota2, Paladins, CS:GO, Team fortress. Potato pc specs: AMD a4-5300, 8gb ram 1333mhz, gtx 1050. Games above used to run on the potato pc(not great but acceptable). Weeks ago it keeps fragmenting leaning to eaither a crashing, not responding, will open then immediately close the program. I just thought that the games just got more demanding for the poor cpu. (This are all base on the time i tried and run a game) I monitored the cpu and gpu for any abnormalities, cpu will always cap at 100%(normal for me) Gpu usage: 52% Gpu temp: 42c Clocks: 1405mhz(max clock in my model) Bus usage: 2% Memory usage: 482mb It will spick up its max clocks just to open the game. My concern in it kills the program to save itself from damage Now i upgraded the system but still keeping the gpu New system specs: r5 2600, 16gb running 3333mhz(3600mhz labeled in package), GTX 1050 It still cant run the games. What could have happened and are there any fixes for this? Ps. When i tried a RTX2070 in the same potato pc the games work and not defragment leading to a crash Ps. Hello there, Scenario i a'm in right now: Acer laptop (win10) while trying to reset(using windows built in feature) the one that asks you to choose between keep files or clean install Windows run in to a problem in the middle of the reset process Now it's stuck in a boot loop. Feels like the os was corrupted during the process due to issues encountered. What i want to do now: Using Microsoft Media tool to create a win10 bootable flash drive and clean format the laptop(done creating the bootable) How do i keep my license in the event of using this process? Someone from the forum told me it should automatically pick up the license in the UEFI. The thing I'm getting concerned is the format screen shows before it asks me for the license I know the process of installing windows is format drive-> choose drive-> wait to finish-> proceeds to windows-> ask license-> finishing up install. (Base on my experience in formating my desktop Thanks for the help!
