  1. I was thinking along the lines of something like this http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=605&area=en mainly for accessibility I would switch to 3.5" if there is a similar solution (I haven't seen any) I have thought about it very briefly (I wanted to get the main concept done before I faff around) but my idea is to have holes cut on each motherboard tray and down in the bottom and have all the cables go through the channel in the middle I've tried to use that as some of my inspiration as well as the http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002895 Which i would of gone for but it seemed a little to tight
  2. I know but I was planning to use them for HDDs and It is better to be safe then sorry. I was thinking i would go for something like this but I can't decide You were right there was far to much space free so I managed to shrink it down 50mm in width and 150mm off the length which brought the weight down significantly The only thing is I cant see a benefit of turning the PSU on the side apart It is inventor
  3. I have been looking for a dual system pc case for quite some time yet I haven't found anything that suits me so I have decided to design my own. I found this case https://imgur.com/a/dTRqx which I have used as my inspiration (Basically copied) just made bigger The main thing I am struggling with is what to do with the space and designs for the fan covers so I would appreciate some Input on what you think would improve it.(It is still in early development) Needs to fit 2x480mm , 2x420mm radiators and 2x400mm tall reservoirs and at least 20 5.25inch bays (Currently 22)
  4. I’m not going down that route again... ive already spent six months designing a desk pc (I did build it) and that was just a nightmare from start to finish so I’m not going to do that again
  5. I’m looking for a duel system pc case that can fit 2 E-ATX motherboards (one isn’t the full 330mm wide it’s only around 280) The only ones that I am aware of are the W200 from thermal take TX100 from case labs is there any more that I have missed or are those the only options
  6. I will start out by saying I know very little about servers , there hardware and software so I will probably be doing something wrong or not doing something I should of. Anyway I have been running a plex server off my main desktop for quite some time now and I’ve been wanting to make the transition to a server so it can be on 24/7. I went on eBay and bought a relatively cheap server (FS12-NV7) reason being it looked like it would be overkill for the job (which is good because a lot of users use plex) and also because it has 12 hot swap bays in the front. First thing I did was put it on the desk and plugged in my OS installation USB and a 120gb ssd (exactly like you would setting up a new desktop) and I went in the BIOS to select a boot drive. This is where the problems start the system detects the SSD and USB but I cannot do anything. I can’t even highlight the drive so I am very confused how I can create a boot drive I’ve attached screenshots of the bios and boot section so you can see what I can. I would really appreciate any help anyone can give , if there’s not enough information to help tell me what I need and I will try and add it.
