monitor Looking for a good ~500 monitor

I'm a bit of a novice at monitors and am thinking of getting a relatively high quality monitor at around 500. my top contester is the Dell Gaming S2417DG. Any thoughts or better suggestions.

I would like to know the best 34 inch monitor, I would like it to have freesync and 2k/4k resolution otherwise its up to you. So far my prime candidate is the Samsung C34F791.
