  1. Hi all, So after many years of use, my Jaybird Run's are close to calling it quits as I've been having issues with the case charging the ear buds etc. I was looking at buying the Vista 2s but turns out Jaybird no longer sells their products in Australia/New Zealand so I'm on the hunt for some new true wireless earbuds. Key things I'm looking for however is a low profile fit and decent enough sound quality. These are going to be used at the gym so don't want to spend too much as these are not going to be daily drivers (for context my Run's were $209 nzd) Am on android aswell so any recommendations for Airpods are kinda moot lol Was hoping someone on these forums will be able to point me in the right direction. Cheers!

  3. I've seen that the Band 2 only shows basic icons for notifications, has the Band 3 improved on this or stayed relatively the same?
  4. Hi all, So I recently bought a Striiv Fusion 2 activity tracker as feature wise it fit what I wanted out of a smart band (Media controls, Notifications and well fitness stuff) but unfortunately found that the band was incompatible with my Huawei P10 Lite, I got the Striiv for $80 and was wondering if there were any alternatives that would work for my phone at around the same pricing? Note: Pricing and Availability must be for New Zealand Cheers, Liam McGill
  5. I checked the specs for the P9 and it does tick all the boxes, but lacks NFC which would be nice (I use it in cases where I don't have my card to make purchases) However the P10 lite is available for ~$430 vs the P9 lite's $300, is there much of a notable upgrade for the price?
  6. Ok that's cool thank you, I see a place that's got a P9 lite for $350 https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/phones-and-gps/mobile-phones/huawei-p9-lite-p9-lite-smartphone-black/prod146567.html
  7. Yeah, Just had a talk to my friend who owns a Nexus and he said to avoid them like the plague. Would the G5s be releasing at a similar price or would it be more? Also what would the battery life on the P9 vs G5 be for basic use as stated above?
  8. Yeah, that looks pretty good, I've seen Nexus 5xs as well for around the same and I know a couple of people who use them, do they come recommended or is there a flaw to them? I just know that Nexus' are stock android so there's little to no bloatware
  9. Below I just linked a good range of places that sell phones, Pb Tech is probably the one I'll be looking at most however (In most cases it's like $50 cheaper than the others) https://www.pbtech.co.nz/ https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/ http://www.warehousestationery.co.nz/
  10. Hi all, Looking for a decent mid-range phone at around $250-$500(New Zealand Dollars), just really needs to do social media (Facebook, Snapchat etc.) and video streaming (e.g. YouTube, Twitch) while being responsive and having a decent battery life. Currently using a hand-me down Galaxy S4 which is OK functionally, but battery life is abhorrent even after being replaced (16 minute YouTube video takes 10% of battery.) Cheers
