  1. That may have more with the fact that you are using a notebook than the style of the keys itself, as some people don't like the notebook angles because the hand is not on an inclined position, which is recommended. Also depends on what angle you are typing, the position of your arm, if the height of your desk makes your elbows be aligned with your desk while typing, etc. I suggest that first you seek advice about your position while working (there's a lot of information about ergonomics when working on a notebook), then try to get also an apple external keyboard to use it attached to the MacBook (the angle of the external keyboard is better / correct, as it's slightly inclined).
  2. Fun fact: after working on an Apple machine for about 5 years (using the old wired aluminum Apple Keyboard) I got so used to the keyboard that till this day I use an Apple Keyboard on my windows machine. Recently I tried to switch to an Apex 350 as I wanted more extra keys, and it felt so uncomfortable that I switched back after a week, and the Apex is not even bad, the keys are lower than the normal mec keyboards, but still there's no comparison, for me there's no best key style than the small/thin ones with scissors switch, I'm a developer too (and gamer) so lots of typing. I guess personal preferences is always the top rule =)
  3. I don't think you will find a very low profile key with Mech keys. I use the wired Apple Keyboard on my windows machine and I tried switching to something bigger (as I wanted more keys), so I bought an Apex 350 and switched back one week later, can't handle the normal keys anymore, is SO bad for typing. I think on the "gamer" marked the only one that resembles the Apple keyboard is the Cougar Vantar, which uses Scissor Switches (as the Apple keyboard): https://cougargaming.com/products/keyboards/vantar/ I hope they launch a Vantar v2 with many macro/extra keys or I can find something similar with more keys.
  4. Hey guys. I've been looking for AIO's for my upcoming setup and I'm really between these 2 models. I was more towards the H115i but found a TT 3.0 Riing RGB 280mm new with a very good price, in my currency is proportional to like $150 dollars cheaper than the H115i. From the TT owners out there, what do you think about the cooler? Is it good? Does it handle a good overclock? Any issues over time? Or does the H115i is THAT better to justify the higher price? Thanks!
  5. Kudos for AMD for finally putting some pressure on Intel. I still would get the i7 7700K. Too much FPS loss on pure gaming - even if you play on 1440p as I do, if you do SLI in the future the 1700 will become the bottleneck as it's on 1080p). And as Nvidia is the must go choice for VGA, for now, streaming with GFE should be the obviously choice, so the CPU really doesn't matter.
  6. True I guess the best now is to wait the 300 series / CoffeeLake next month(?), so you can upgrade to a CannonLake next year as it appears they will be on the same chipset/socket configuration.
  7. I was just pointing that for motherboards that cost absurdly more than the z270 (at least where I live) this is something I personally don't see as a good sign, it seems "rushed".
  8. You are probably right. I like the LGA2066 but where I live the cheaper MB cost double the price of a z270 one, even more than a I7 7740X. Ridiculous.
  9. I saw a few report on forums, one guy reported a TUF Mark 1 on Tom'shardware forum asking what could cause it (it was a new setup, he was not even running OC). He just sent it to warranty.
  10. As stated above, AsRock says z270 will not support Coffee Lake. I was about to upgrade to z270 with an i5-7600K (still rocking my 3570K) in hope to get a 8XXX in the future but now that's over the bridge. I really don't know what to do, the x299 platform seems rushed - hence overclockers reporting problems with boards that have only 8 pin power line to CPU and users reporting capacitors exploding for no reason, and yet the motherboards are ABSURDLY expensive right now. Oh well, I might way a little longer... hate this.
