Hey can you take a look at my build and my friends build on the same budget? Which is better?
Mine: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XX26WX
My Friends: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/J4BzVY
Yea. At first I was planning on getting AMD because my friends are like bro AMD is amazing for gaming. At first I thought if it was good at gaming, it would be good at all the other stuff I would usually do. Well turns out it wasn't.
Thank you so much man, even though its 200USD over the budget, I'm positive I should be able to get this build. But man that motherboard is very expensive!
This helped me a lot! But I'm not sure what you meant by locked motherboard and unlocked CPU. Is it possible to take the motherboard you chose for the AMD and stuff it in with the intel build? I would also like to stick with the case I chose because of the looks. I mean both cases look good but I'd prefer the one I chose out in the beginning. Are they possible? I'm sorry if I am being picky because I care a lot about the looks. Thanks though for spending your time writing all of this down
PS. I was trying to get with a Color scheme with Orange/Black. If I forgot to mention.
Thanks!
Hey guys.
So basically I got a budget of 1650$ to build a desktop. What do you think of it?
CPU: i7-7700k
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x62
Motherboard: Asus Strix B250F
RAM: G Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB (2x8)
Storage: SSD: Samsung 850 EVO "2.5" 250GB HDD: Hitachi Ultrastar 72000RPM "3.5" 1TB
GPU: Asus Strix GeForce GTX 1080
CASE: NZXT S340 Elite (BLACK)
PSU: Corsair CXM450M 80+ Bronze (450W)
Total wattage is about 400W. So I thought to get a Power Supply just a little more the wattage then need. Is it alright? I'm no computer geek and this is my first time building, so I'd like some advice! Anything would be appreciated.
