  1. This newest update that came out yesterday I think is pretty stable so far. I think it’s fixed some of the main issues but it’s to early to tell
  2. I’m looking into laptops for school and I’m sort of being pushed in the direction of a gaming laptop. Now before you jump to the comments to tell me not to buy a gaming laptop I’m better off with a desktop, I understand that. I do however want to know for casual, occasional gaming and more school use than anything would that be a good option? I would like to play games along the lines of Day Z, Player unknown battlegrounds. Price isnt a huge obstical but nothing over $1,500. Would the specs be good enough to blow simple schooling out of the water and not slow down and last after just a few years or downloads? I’m new to gaming computers in general so any opinions and recommendations would be great, Thanks!
  3. It should. Go to Apple.com and click the side bars so you can search. And search IOS Beta. It’ll bring up exactly how to do it!
  4. Oh no doubt. And I understand it’s a beta but coming off from beta 10 which was much more stable thought I’d ask people’s opinions. Numerous other sights people have been posting their opinions and solutions
  5. Thought I’d open up a discussion about the IOS 11 beta program and how it really seems to be the worst beta to date. So let’s talk the bad the good and the miserable and even solutions to the common everyday issues with the update.
  6. That’s what I keep hearing. Mac is good no doubt but pretty overpriced.
  7. You guys have been really helpful. Thank you! I think I’ll cross out Mac. Seems like I can get just as good or even better. I’ll be looking into the thinkpad.
  8. i keep hearing the thinkpad come up every time I ask so I’m thinking I’ll start looking into that. T series Ultrabook? Or just T series?
  9. Nothing over $1000. Honestly the Apple education pricing of $899 would be the highest I’d go. I’m also considering Dell or Lenovo.
  10. I wanted to hear some people’s opinons on the MacBook Air and whether or not it’s a good computer for college. Would rather not hear biased opinions against Apple. I simply want to hear from people who use the computer or have tried it and did/didn’t like it. Things like essays, multi-tasking, research and battery life. Thanks!
  11. So any certain model for thinkpad? Or just a thinkpad in general? And to be honest I wasn’t planning on gaming. It would be great to have the option but from what I’ve heard if you plan on gaming buy a desktop. So I’m wondering if the extra performance will only help the gaming aspect or will it also help me with other aspects of the computer?
  12. I’m just getting my Associate of Arts. Basic two year degree. So Math, English, history and quite a few cultural classes such as psychology, sociology. Just things to get that 2 year degree plan. I’m expecting quite a lot of research and Essays.
  13. I’m thinking no less than 800. Or I would get just get a Mac lol. I live in Texas. Would that computer still work?
  14. Looking for opinions on the best Dell Laptop to use for a college student. Also looking for opinions on Dell in general. I don’t necessarily want alternatives, moreso if it’ll work or not! Alternatives can some second if you’re so inclined. Thanks! **** Price is no more than $800 (or I would just get a Mac. Which is why I’m trying to find cheaper alternatives)
  15. It’s basic studies for an Associate of Arts. So English, math, History (online course) and assorted sociology, philosophy and psychology. I’m expecting lots of research and papers. I need it to last me all two years and about 22 separate classes.
