Stop the fans one by one with your finger ( its safe, won't hurt too much ) and see what fan might cause this issue.
Could also be the AIO pump.

Hello friends and welcome to this year's first PC mod/build.    "Green Prime" is started. It is a modification of the Asus AP201 case with a glass side. In addition to the idea of filling this little one with strong hardware and cooling, the idea is that instead of the current horizontal position of this case, I will make changes so that it stands vertically and give everything my own style and design.   Thank you for following my work again, stay tuned!       Hardware:   Intel i7 13700k Asus Prime AP201 Asus ROG Strix z790i Gaming WiFi Asus ROG Strix RX 6900XT Patriot Viper Extreme 5 2x 16Gb DDR5 8000Mhz Patriot Viper VP4300 2Tb Cooler Master SFX 850w CableMod custom PSU cables EKWB 2x Surface P360 radiators BLACK edition EKWB all LC HDC parts

It turned out way better than ive ever hoped it would, looks cool, does guitar stuff and it also plays games, unlimited games, but the question remains... will this guitar run or play crisis?

You still have to enable them to run at XMP in the bios, and some will/some won't, particularly on Ryzen 1st & 2nd gen. The Trident Z Neo I have worked out of the box, once XMP was enabled in bios at 3600 CL16 on a 2700X. Sure, I might eventually tweak the timings etc down to CL15, maybe 14 if possible and some of the other timings, but tbh, it's running stable rock solid on the XMP profile and isn't doing anything super latency dependent so I'm not bothered at the min.

You're the first one to mention anything about ram, so i looked into it more and i had just set the ram to 3200mhz not an XMP profile (first time i'm using DDR4 so wasn't sure how to do it correctly) so i reset bios settings and did that and it's been over a week now without it getting stuck, thanks man!

In 2015 I saw a 4k demo running on a 4k monitor that was surrounded by 1080p monitors running 1080p demos. The difference was night and day. On an impulse I bought one and it changed my life.

Before the 4k monitor I was always happy to buy lower end GPUs. I had a GTX 407, 507, 607 and 970. After I bought the monitor it was 980, 980 ti, 1080, 1080 ti and 2080 ti. It is only when I got to the 1080 ti that I could play all my games at 4k.

I have not seen a 4k monitor running a 4k demo since then. My advice to you that if you glimpse one, evert your eyes and run away.  If you don't It may cost you thousands.

Stores don't usually showcase PC monitor in the same way as TVs, so if you don't buy one or know someone with one, it's normal.
Overall.. It's really just a monitor with a higher resolution.

I'd suggest going to 1440p with a high refresh rate if you want a new monitor. Skip 4k for now. (Coming from someone with a 4k monitor who is downsampling it to 1440p... because 4k just doesn't run as well)
Also, yes, usually, higher resolution does remove the need for AA. Depending on how big the monitor is and how far you're sitting from it.

That depends on how big the monitor is...
That's a subjective metric, some people don't care at all about graphical quality. Personally I prefer a higher resolution over some barely noticeable filters like ambient occlusion. I also don't particularly care about going over 60hz, it's smooth enough for me. There are also other things you can do with a monitor that aren't just playing games...

Of course this also depends on the size of the monitor.
Again, entirely subjective. There's no reason you can't play on a 15" 720p 50Hz TN monitor at the lowest settings so long as you can tell what's going on in the game...

If jagged edges and visible pixels bother you, get a higher resolution display. If they don't, don't. If the game feels choppy get a higher refresh rate monitor. If it doesn't, don't.

I would say for most people 1440p 144hz makes more sense than 4k 60.
I have played on both, and while my display is the 4k one, the extra smoothness of 144hz is a bigger factor, in gaming there is not a lot of difference between 1440 and 4k.

I finished my Super Star Destroyer kit yesterday, already ordered a Y-Wing. I've had some extra cash as the insurance on my totalled car came through and they paid out what I wanted which was £500 more than what the replacement car has cost me... and I still have another £350 to come back. Given that the replacement car has only cost me £240 in immediate maintenance as I was able to transfer a load of parts from the old car to upgrade the new one. (same car, even the same colour, but a year newer and 25% fewer miles on it and cost £300 less to buy than the old one did 9 months ago).  So the value of the new one is about £1000 more.  Thankfully I got it from another Honda enthusiast who's looked after it.

So I've used some of that extra money to buy these, and I still have another £150 in birthday money to blow on toys and I'm gonna combine that with any money I get for xmas to buy a butt load more kits in the new year. I feel like having an X-Wing, B-Wing, Snow Speeder, Tie Fighter and perhaps the Tantive IV or a regular Star Destroyer.

I'm gonna need more shelves in my office.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Anyway, a couple of degrees will usually not make much of a difference.  Yes, a CPU or GPU that runs cool will last longer than that same part would last if it were hotter, but it doesn't matter because you will almost always be upgrading long before it breaks anyway.

I'm not really sure that I agree with this, but in terms of AAA titles I would say this is mostly true. When you look at gaming as a whole including indies and AA games, this is not very prominent. When you look at Portal, Rust, Civilization ect, it evens out. I would call it an attribute of mainstream AAA titles, CoD, CS:GO, but not an issue.

I don't really see this as a big issue. If you look at any other form of media, there are a crap ton of stereotyped characters being created compared to unique personalities. Personally, I think this stems from the amount of effort needed to make a person instead of a stereotype. Generally, its also a safe play for big companies which is why you see this in bigger titles.

I don't get this at all. I don't play a game because it doesn't marginalize me. I play a game because it is fun or has a good story. This isn't even an issue until academics get involved. Then, the shit hits the fan

Rust. It's toxic. But it's meant to be toxic. The fact that your character is randomized is a large part of the game. People that have never been harassed for the color of their skin, have to experience it first hand because of some RNG decision. These players that have never been harassed, learn a valuable life lesson and take that to other games. I would check out this video:

Extra Credits is a wonderful source of information on any gaming topic from the view point of players and devs.

I would call BS on that research. They look at AAA because the entirety of gaming is too big a data set. AAA reflects the majority so it makes a lot of sense to study them. However, AAA game makers have become more conservative and stick to stereotypes to minimize risk. Good play on their part. Good research on the scientists part. Does it represent gaming as a whole? I would say no.

Not at all. Games are about gameplay and stories. Not about the color of the characters skin, nor their gender. For example, I spent a good 10 hours in Portal and Portal 2 before I realized I was playing a female. Trust me, you don't notice it. It's not really something you notice unless the developers shove it in your face with heavily sexualized characters for no purpose. If they are sexualized for the story and because that's who they are, I'm all for it. But generally, in AAA games, it has no point besides sex sells.

My personal stance is that there isn't really an issue, besides certain games. *cough* Dead or Alive *cough*
It's made out to be a bigger thing than reality and the vast majority of people who argue and care about this, are not gamers.

I play games for their merits, not because they have a female protagonist.
I read books for their merits, not because the main character is black.
I watch a movie anyway, even if the main character is white.

Race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality and others are not really issues. They are not the reason we play games. Games are fun so we play games.

Please quote me if I was unclear or if you have any questions. I'm half passed out right now, so most of this will not make any sense. Peace, I gotta finish "Emily Is Away Too."

Well, the fact that anyone gets offended because of someone's gender or colour is damn hilarious to me honestly.
I just simply can't understand why would someone think that way about others.

Maybe because I'm more open than those people or the fact that I know a lot of different people from around the web but it's still saddening to see when someone gets offended by nothing.
