Yasin40 reacted to berberries in GPU upgrade Ryzen 5 1600
Vega 56 and 64 are also pretty good options. Vega 56 is about the same price and actually performs slightly better. but hard to find compared to a 1070. vega 64 is probably out of your price bracket.
If you use premiere heavily or anything else that is CUDA accelerated, a gtx 1070 would be much better. But for gaming, I would say a Vega 56 or GTX 1070 will both work very fine

I would suggest a used 1070 or even 1070 Ti

Yasin40 reacted to Corsair Nick in Budget case
Corsair 175R should fit most of your criteria minus the 5.25 ODD. It's a pretty compact ATX case, but can house a good amount of hardware including the front 240mm AIO. Air Cooler will really depend on overall height for clearance of the side panel. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

A cheaper option that isnt as good build quality or has nearly as many fans would be the Cougar MX330. Technically this over is an acrylic side panel, but the MX330-G has a glass one (they look the same in photos) but it's 35 euros so a good value if you have your own fans already.

Coolermaster MB511 RGB hits all the check boxes, though it's technically 63 euro right now.

Yasin40 reacted to Gazereths in PC shuts off no warning gaming
It's a matter of narrowing down the problem unfortunately. My first suspect would be the power supply but you replaced that and it's still happening. If that isn't the problem then most likely the motherboard has somekind of problem.
Worth a try to try different ram but it's a long shot. Also worth stripping down the PC and rebuilding it, sometimes reseating the cpu can help.
TBH though It sounds like a mobo problem. Luckily b350 boards are cheap atm.
As said above it could be an overheating problem, make sure the cooler is OK and Thermal paste is adequate. There might be an option in the bios to diable overheat protection, but be careful that the temps are OK before trying that.

Hi there
I don't think H110 chipset was meant for kaby lake (7xxx CPUs)
I'm pretty sure that's your problem

As I said, your PSU is great, but there is a very unlikely chance it's defective, you should test it. Your MOBO could be defective too, but also unlikely now that I know which one it is. Knowing your hardware, I would guess it's the GPU's fault.

A Corsair CX550 is fine for the vast majority of systems. Go for one of those. You don't need 600W for nearly anything.

Yasin40 reacted to Crunchy Dragon in Corsair PSU issues
Going by that, I agree with @Boomwebsearch. Your PSU may be failing to provide all the power necessary to keep your system going.
Corsair's VS power supplies are Tiers 5 and 6 on the PSU Tier List, I wouldn't be surprised if that's why you're having this problem: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/
Most people don't recommend going below a Tier 3.

Yasin40 reacted to Biggerboot in Dead gpu again?
Does adjusting your volume with no GPU attached cause it to happen (assuming you have an iGPU)?
Random reboots though, sounds more than likely a PSU if it's abrupt and not the typical Windows reboot. If you could look in event viewer for an event ID 41 it's a likely sign that the system is losing power abruptly. A different error may tell you if it's some kind of critical shutdown for other reasons.
These problems may have always been there but amplified by the video card because of increased power consumption.
The volume issue could be an additional side effect of poor power delivery but could also be EMI. Poor emi shielding may be the motherboard's fault.

Be sure you have all of the latest updates and drivers for your pc. Specifically check for GPU driver updates. If you could provide us with more info, like the mobo model number, cpu, OS, and psu, we may be able to help more.
