  1. Hey I am looking for a good Notebook, price range from 1000-1500€. Main tasks will be music production and audio editing and a litte bit of gaming. Would be great to get some recommendations. thanks in advance!
  2. update: with latest bios F22b it is now finally possible to get to 3126mhz. at 3200 the system will shut down and reboot after few seconds.
  3. Anybody else got problems with this update? My build instant freeze and shot down when i start c4d and hit render. And my fans are not working correctly anymore. App center always say that could not calibrate because motherboard have been changed. I have reinstalled F8 now. But still the same issue with the fans. Can it be that this damn update has fucked up my system? edit: ryzen 7 / gigabyte 3 gaming board
  4. no. silly me did not read that. well, ok that basiclly solved the thread more or less. thanks.will get 2x16 i guess.
  5. thats a shame. any guideline / / sites with infos about it? is anybody here that actually done it? damn. so ur saying best to get rid of these 4 and get 2x16`?
  6. Hello. Setup: Ryzen 7 / Gigabye AB350 Gaming 3 / 4x8 GB Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz C16 – (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) Even with the new F8 Bios update i cant OC my rams over 2400 Mhz. Can anybody send me some info how to or has anybody experience the same problem. is it even possible to overclock 4 sticks at this board yet? I really want to get this higher then 2400. Please any help. Thanks a million.
  7. i dont know exactly what u mean with TIM. about the cooler orienation. yes as u propably know the Noctua cooler comes with two mounts for two orienations. at least this one does. i changed that from sucking air in above the graphics card and blow it out on top. now its blowing out on the backside. but i cant really say if its better or worse. i think tho its gotten a little more worse. i changed orientation when i installed my new 1070. before i had the amd hd 7700. which is fair amount smaller then the gpu from zotac. and yes. the temps coming from ryzen master. at the moment as u can see on the pics i run that setup . mainly because i just want a stable and not overheating system to work. would be nice to tweak the settings tho for sure. as i mentioned. i cant find a way to OC the 4 sticks of ram. no way to get over the 2400. maybe a new bios will do the trick someday. and for the cpu. as u can see i have an idle temp of 45°. i just ran cinebench and it very quickly increase again to 70°. on the fan setup they run 100% as soon it hits 55°. as far it comes to my stats at the moment. those are a collection of various infos i read. this vid for example just now. was testing some of this methods he mentioned.
  8. ryzen 1700 on 3.7 rans too hot. 85° then shutdown. And only rendered 20 minutes of a cinema4d / arnold renderer test. Before the shotdown i noticed some cores worked with und 2ghz some with less. I dropped it to 3.6 ghz. And it was stable at 80°. Now again. After 5 Minutes of rendering it is on 84°. Temps are coming both from Ryzen Master and Core temp. Which are always on same level. Ive tried set my Noctua NH-09b cooler to another direction. its heading now to the backside. Before it was heading to the top. Where two 120mm fans sit. 2 more are in the front of the case. I have the Zalman R9 case which is crap. anyhow. Gigabyte Gaming 3 Board atm at Dynamic Vcore (DVID) +0.108V Dynamic VCORE SOC(DVID) +0.030 DRAM Voltage (CH A/B) 1300v Ram running on 2400. And no way to get it up higher with the four sticks. I gave up, at least for now. I did a one hour test with prime. Highest temps were around 84°. Room temperature is around 25° at the moment. Any tips would be awesome. Thanks in advance
  9. yes thats the SKU and temps are coming from Core Temp. Is that programm not that accuarte? Didnt know about Ryzen Master tho. Thanks. Downloading now.
  10. Hey guys. i got my ryzen 7 up and running now and totally new to overclock. running at 3.7 ghz (so far). i got 4 x 8 gb corsair lpx 3200 on my gigabyte gaming 3 board. but i cant overclock my ram over 2400 mhz. i know it can be difficult with timings to reach 3200 mhz. i read somewhere that when u have 4 rams it might be impossible at the moment. do u know something about that? also i do a lot 3d rendering with cinema4d and arnold renderer (cpu based) .. at full load i am relativ quickly at 60-70° . and when i render bigger projects frames or animations it even go higher. 75+° i had just yesterday. on a hot day like today it is very quick on 75-80° and increasing. i have an noctua NH-09B cpu cooler and 5 fans in the case. and iam a little worried if this is normal? idle the system runs between between 40° and 50° thanks in advance
