Oh no, I had as much skepticism for Stadia as I have for any product google makes. I just thought that cloud gaming, as an industry, would go somewhere. Seems like the perfect time right now, considering nobody can get their hands on computer hardware, but it just didn't catch on.

Wow, between Stadia and this, I don't think anyone thought that cloud gaming would flop this hard (except for GeForce Now, I guess).

I disagree. Sure, the enthusiasts use stock trackers and price history to grab parts when they become available, but for new builders I think that 'Sold Out' button can be pretty daunting. If I wanted to get into PC gaming for the first time right now, a cloud service would definitely seem more achievable than spamming F5 on 3000 series stock all day.

Agreed. The idea of simply buying a controller, a couple discounted games, and a subscription for a cloud gaming service seems to make a lot of sense for the average Joe. If I didn't have any computer that can run games right now, I'd be the first to spend some money for Playstation Now, Stadia, or Geforce Now. It just seems like a much better option than buying extremely overpriced hardware.

Obviously, cloud gaming services suck if you want to play competitive multiplayer, but even laptops from 5 years ago can comfortably run CSGO, LoL, Fortnite, etc., so that shouldn't be a problem either.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm surprised by how hard these cloud gaming services flopped. I thought they'd catch on at least a little. Maybe they just weren't advertised very well?

    what speed/latency?

did you make sure to purchase a motherboard that can do that? (your motherboard can do this but I wanted to make sure you knew ahead of time) and also if your motherboard box says Ryzen 5000 series ready, no flash required.

The overall build itself looks quite nice, nothing glaringly wrong with it, solid performance in a high end machine.

Could be a drive failure. Try taking out the SSD, and see if you can get into BIOS then.

    Summary
The firm behind the cloud gaming platform Shadow, Blade, filed for Bankruptcy in the California Northern Bankruptcy Court and the Paris Commercial Court began receivership proceedings on March the 2nd. Blade has now suffered a big setback, with server provider 2CRSi claiming back money owed by Blade with 2CRSi having the right to claim back Hardware worth about 30 Million Euros currently used by Blade and Shadow. There is also 3.7 Million Euros in debt surrounding the deal between Blade and 2CRSi. 2CRSi's reason to claim back the Hardware from Blade is because of the unprecedented demand for it caused by the Pandemic and resulting work and learn from home circumstances, they already have a bunch of inquiries to use the Hardware from new potential Customers. Blade has posted a Statement on the Shadow Website a day after it's filling for Bankruptcy announcing that it will undergo major reorganisation of the company to relief themselves of the debt holding them back and to continue on developing Shadow's Technology. Blade promised it had plans to move forward should it be successful in seeking funding through Investors in the coming weeks.

The Asus one has better specs (165Hz refresh and 0.5ms response) but the experience will be very similar. They're also both TN panels, which means mediocre colors and viewing angles.

You recommend 32gb for gaming? Really, huh. I don't think I've ever seen anybody do that, at least yet. How come?
Tbh I'd expect people to start recommending 32gb within two years, when ddr5 systems are commonplace.

If it works it works, but you don't typically need to undervolt RAM. It doesn't get very hot.

Try yanking out the hard drive, and see if you can get into BIOS then. Whenever a PC powers off and doesn't power on, my first guess is gonna be that the hard drive went poof.

    Some notes:
Picked a 5600X instead of the 3600. It's current gen, and quite a bit faster.  The B550 Tomahawk is a solid board, with BIOS flashback function (so you can update if needed to support Zen 3 CPUs). 32GB of good RAM. All SSD storage, 500GB M.2 boot drive (will be very fast), with slower SATA 1TB for games and general use. GPU is out of stock right now, so I left a little bit of budget in the built in case you need to go with something other than the founder's edition. All-black theme (with basically no RGB, but if you want some it can be added on later). Just a heads up: the global PC component market is in complete turmoil right now. Some of these components may be way above MSRP, so you should verify before buying.
