  1. This build is at least 4 years old. Only thing that has changed is the cpu being upgraded a few years back, new hdd and the gtx 1060 I got less than 3 months ago
  2. Have also tried booting it again and neither keyboard nor mouse is getting any power
  3. My display cable is plugged into my 1060. I do not have on board graphics sadly. I have tested the gpu on another rig and it works perfectly fine
  4. Hello! So been having a re-occuring issue with my pc as everything turns on but im greeted by nothing more than the horrific black screen of death. System specs are : FX-8320 ; GTX 1060 ; ASUS M5A97 Mobo ; corsair Vengance 1x8gb ddr3 1600mhz ; antec 620w psu (bronze rating effeciency) I have tried switching out hdd's, resetting CMOS, switching RAM positions, re-seating every component, and more that I could pull together and nothing. PC just does not want to seem to hold a boot very much now adays. I can give more details if needed but any help is greatly appreciated!!!
  5. Hello!! So I have had my lovely bulldozer chip since about 2012 and it has done me very good work, but as times are moving and less and less support is being given for drivers and such, im looking to upgrade to something more modern. I have a 1050ti for my gpu if it helps in anyway possible. I know recently the 2nd gen of ryzen cpu's has hit market and have a good price/performance ratio but I would like some opinions if possible! My budget is hopefulley around 700 if possible to find something more up to date. I play games at 1080p res, dont do much else besides that so if there is a bit of a money saver somewhere it would be great! Cheers!
  6. Yeah. I currently have ordered a new gpu since this current one was running out of time anyhow. So I should beable to get somewhere
  7. Hello LTT community! So whilst trying to turn on my pc one faithful friday morning, I had immedietly noticed lines running down my screen appearing to be dead pixels. While thinking it was simply a loose connection to my gpu, i tried to re insert the cable back into my 280x (which has been having its fair share of issues lately), and when I try to boot, windows try to repair it, but doesnt work, because by the time it has rebooted, it wont even make it to the point where I can see the login screen. It is just blank (and yes, I checked the connection again but didnt show any signs of it being disconnected). Another note is because my gpu is hecking heavy on one end with no support, it has bent quite alot on the 16x pci-e slot on the gpu (mb slot is still perfectly fine), so maybe another factor? I am just scrambling to figure why it wont go all the way to the login :^( Any help is appreciated!!!!
  8. Building your PC allows you to get to know what you are really going to be using. And in any case you want to part swap, you will know how to ^ and its free, so why not
  9. Look around in task manager to see anything pulling usage from applications. Down on your lower right task bar, see if anything could be trying to run in the background (Sometimes razer synaps gives me issues but that could just be me). See if anything is hiding in the background while you are running overwatch as well
  10. And yes, I have dusted the card completly clean, and even went as far as switching the PCI-E slot. Ive noticed as well that the PCI-E port on the card is quite bent down, and the heatsink hangs quite a bit when it is even sitting still in the slot.
  11. Sadly Ive had the card for about 2-3 years now. And was a gift from a friend of mine, so I don't believe there is any warranty left for it And I have rolled back windows 10 multiple times, performed a DDU, works for the first boot-up, but get locked afterwards
  12. So I have been having alot of problems over the past couple months or so with this card slowly collecting artifacts, and recent its been getting stuck at 850mhz clock and 1500 mhz mem clock. I have used DDU multiple times and work afterwards, but If i were to reset or turn off my pc, the settings get forced back to 850/1500. Maybe the card is on its last legs? Any help is appreciated!!!
  13. I Don't see any black spots or anything that looks unusual.
  14. No. I had never touched the settings before for my gpu. I've only overclocked my cpu
  15. Hello! So I have had my lovely r9 for the past few years, and very recently it has started a lot of problems that I had tried looking around on the forum, diagnosing but got no where. I don't play very heavy games that are very harsh on my graphics card, mostly small games and some more higher up games. And recently it started to crash alot, blue screening not as frequently but has gotten worse. Artifacts are not terrible but they are progressively getting worse little by little. I have tried looking for any and all new drivers, either on AMD's site or through the catalyst software and came up empty handed. Temps are a not bad (35-38 idle) but will still crash games and freeze even when the temperature is not that bad. I'm a bit afraid for my system for the strain going on with it, so any and all help to possibly find a solution would be amazing!! I will provide all extra details to help if needed
