  1. Well, I figured it out; partly, at least. HyperKit had to be enabled in the BIOS. So I am able to boot the system now but still, I cannot control fans and the mobo shows a code A0 instead of a cpu temperature... Weird things are going on.. Probably need to flash the BIOS
  2. thats good to hear! Could you be more specific about restoring the previous settings? I dont know anything in that matter. Cheers!
  3. Thank you for the information. I will look into it but it looks kind of intimidating, not gonna lie haha.
  4. I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about haha. I just thought I need to change something in the BIOS in order for it to see the SSD and boot the system from it.
  5. Hello everyone, I am desperate for help. I went to only change fan curve and accidentally hit the button for recovering BIOS optimized default settings; meaning that I lost all OC settings etc. Well, I am an idiot. However, that is nothing I can take care of. The worse thing is that every time I try to load the Windows, it automatically jumps into BIOS. Very well, the HDD is set to boot from - no big deal, I thought. Well, the BIOS doesn't see my SSD on which the system is stored. Any suggestions? Everything is so messed up that even changing the bloody fan curve doesn't do anything as it used to... MoBo is Asus Maximus IX Code, CPU is I7-7700k, SSD is Intel 750 series. Any help is greatly appreciated! Cheers, Jelen
  6. I have a deal with the local branch of the company on using their products. I am aware that this limits my choices significantly. However you can state your best monitor even if it isn't Asus, I just won't be buying it though. But I am really curious :-)
  7. Hi everyone, I would love to ask you for a little help. I now have three monitors - Asus ROG PG258Q's. They were cool when I have been gaming more, but now, as I am a filmmaker and video creator, I need something a little bit more professional, not TN panels, not full hd. Something with an accurate panel. On the other hand, I have become quite fond of the high refresh rate of my current monitors (240hz) and the g-sync comes in handy sometimes when I play a game. This is basically my dilemma - I need a panel that is big (more than 30 inches), is color accurate, thus suitable for photo and video editing, while offers a good gaming experience. Oh, and it needs to be Asus monitor, sadly. Thank you guys!
  8. While medium to high workload, the 7700k is somewhere around 40-50, but every few seconds, the temps jump up to 70s. Then back down. Kind of weird. Also, dont you know what temps should I be getting on my 1080Ti during gaming? Right now, I have got to 62C, videocard is water cooled. Is it ok? Cheers
  9. Hey guys, I would be really grateful for your tips regarding the management of fans and water cooling in my computer. Currently, I am using AI Suite. I am not very pleased with it, though, as it shows really weird CPU temperature spikes. My CPU and graphics card are water cooled. What are your suggestions? BIOS alone? Speedfan? Cheers!
  10. Got it. I thought the g sync capability is mainly determined by the panel. my bad. Thanks
  11. Even though it is going to be display port cable from the monitor (exactly like it is required for the g sync to work) leading to the adapter that leads to the hdmi output on pc?
  12. I won a short movie competition and the whole setup was the price. I suppose the organizator somehow overlook that. Thats the only bad think about the overall great setup. Who knows, I might get another card for the sli, who knows.
  13. Nice thank you for the input. Lets hope it will manage the g sync as well.
  14. Glenwing, hello. I just saw this (http://www.club-3d.com/en/detail/2431/hdmi_to_displayport_adapter/) and remembered that we had a chat about these things. Do you think this fella would manage to solve my problem as we discussed above? Thank you very much!
