    Ive used the TPLink card before. It did pretty well gaming. Now my mom uses it for her machine. The only issue I see, if TPLink no longer supports the card driver wise. So you have to rely on Microsoft drivers. Which I figure that should be fine.

    whatever you do DO NOT get that gigabyte one, i had it and it has severe intel chipset issues which cause it to give you latency spikes.

    Both are fine but TP link is more reliable

    TP-link N900 is a good option, I have had one for three years and have had no issues in any operating system. Windows 2000,XP,Vista,7,8.1,10; ubuntu, OS X etc. Just make sure that you don't use the utility that it comes with as that is bad, but everything else about it is fine.
