Oh well crap. You can still play amazing games like Sunset Overdrive, The Halo Series (If you like it), And use it as a “second player” for free to play games like warzone or Apex. For Example when I go to my friends house we often play warzone together this way (He plays on his xbox and I play on his PS5). If you can’t find any use for it I recommend just selling it to somebody else that really wants it.

So, when you switched OS, you got the same result as swapping cables? Or did you switch to DP on Nobara as well? This part confused me. Anyway, I don't know if windows recognises the display differently when you use HDMI and DP (other than the different technology of course) but something similar happened to me when I switched from hdmi to dp a couple of years ago, I had completely different colours, and I fixed it by changing the windows color properties, display calibration and some tweaks with the Nvidia control panel. I think it's because you are used to that image now so try to match it as much as you can with these options. If nothing works try different dp cables, sometimes you get faulty ones.

I heard that Ventura does not really behave well with Hackintosh. I found some old posts of some people succeeding on older T460 models, but then they said that once they updated it all broke down. Make sure that your PC has virtualisation technology support and maybe try with older versions of MacOS?

My friend bought an xbox series x for the same reason and it's now collecting dust since it's basically useless once you've played the 3 exclusives they have. For backward compatibility just go for the emulation route, most of them are quite easy to set up and understand.

I’ve given you my honest opinion as someone that’s been using a VA panel as a second monitor for 3 years. I checked, NewEgg does have the 30 days return thing so my advice is to just try it and see if you like it or you agree with mr.displayconnoisseur here.

I have an IPS and a VA and other than the viewing angle I don't see any difference, I've had this debate before so let's not take it any further lol. Of course the IPS is going to be better or whatever else, but in terms of just using a decent monitor, again, I don't see any difference. In any case the OP is on a short budget so the options are limited for a 1440p.

I've never seen it before but it looks decent enough. You can try it and maybe refund it if you don't like it. I'm not from the US but I believe that newegg has a 30 days refund like amazon.

I'm not sure you can find a decent 1440p for 200$, unless it is used. If the monitor you found has good specs but the only thing is that it's VA, you can go ahead and buy it, I have a VA panel as a second monitor myself, just keep in mind that VA panels have bad viewing angles. Other than that they're pretty good.

Yeah mine doesn’t do that. It’s definitely weird, but if it doesn’t affect your cooling as you said and it’s not too loud I’d stick with it. Maybe try to put your PS5 vertically if you can? A friend of mine told me that he heard less noise this way (I always had it vertical so I can’t tell).

You can use your accounts on PS3,4 and 5. I have an Australian account and an Italian account. I live in Italy so I buy the games on the Italian account, but I play them on the Australian (main) one. Let’s just hope that Sony doesn’t remove the game sharing feature.

I don’t know how you could fix the problem but I can tell you that it’s not normal. I have the launch version and it does barely any noise.

Yeah, me for example. I’m basically the size of a mountain troll and I can’t find any foam tips that fit, they all fall off my ears. The regular ones are easier to find in bigger sizes.

The others have already told you what to do but I want to add something really stupid that worked for a friend of mine: Go check if your primary gpu is actually set to the gpu itself or the integrated gpu. Sometimes when you swap video cards windows will set the primary gpu to the integrated one and not switch automatically to the new one.

If you feel that it usually means you’re using the wrong size tips. I think you already tried the others that came in the box, so I would recommend buying some replacements on amazon, maybe you’re one of the lucky ones that can use foam tips.

As others have stated, you will always get better performance with audiophile equipment, BUT, if you like the Ear 2 just go for it. I usually hate on these brands but I bought them for the gym (can’t bring my headphones and amp there lol) and they are quite decent. Especially if you listen to bassy stuff like electronic music. I listen to Fusion Jazz and they’re still fine to my ears.

No, you should be fine with temps, but I’m worried about the space you have left for the other parts tbh. I would buy something else. NZXT looks nice but there’s always a problem somewhere.

Yeah I have checked the drivers and everything, and yes it’s a dual monitor setup.
