  1. Considering it is six years old and it was crap even when I bought it..
  2. (I already posted this here but I'm reposting it because nothing worked and now my post is too far down and I'll delete it. The other guys suggested me to revert video card drivers and trying to run things on the onboard graphics but the first didn't work, and my programs and games won't even start with the onboard graphics) I have a 6 years old prebuilt pc and in time I upgraded the ram from 8 to 16GB, the video card from a 2GB R9 to a 6GB GTX1060 and that old hdd with a samsung 860 evo 1TB. The only things I left are the PSU (550W), CPU (i74770k) and the Motherboard (I don't even know what mobo is this there's nothing written on it, I just know it's ASUS, like the whole PC). The PC was still running really good until a couple of weeks ago. It started to crash when I played heavier games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider or Wolfenstein Youngblood, and Also Apex Legends, just like that, randomly, without any errors. This was still acceptable since it was happening rarely and only on SP games (except Apex but I don't play that game so often) and my main game (Rainbow Six Siege) was working well as always. Now it crashes literally on EVERYTHING, even in stuff I need for work, like Photoshop and Illustrator. I get 3 to 6 crashes in every game session in any game I have, either SP and MP which is kind of frustrating (Apex is now giving me an error that says I PHYSICALLY removed my GPU). I did a couple of tests and checked the temps while games and programs are running, and everything is fine..I don't know what to do. I will buy a new system soon but I need to keep up with this one for at least a couple of months because I need more money. How can I solve this? Even if it's just a fix for the programs I need for work. Things I already tried to do: - Clean OS Reinstall - Repairing programs - Cleaning the system from dust - Lowering GPU clock speed - Using Linux installed in my old HDD, but even chrome is crashing there
  3. It appears it was just a 30 mins luck now it's doing the same and plus I have visual artifacts in games. I just reverted the drivers, I don't know.
  4. I will do the same things you did now and never upgrading this crap until I can assemble my new PC, hoping that I won't have the same problems with it. I can't believe I delayed my work and lost endless matches in R6 for a stupid driver.
  5. Yeah when they do this they make me want to go back to amd, never had an issue with them. BTW I just made an Apex Legends game (Since it was the game crashing the most) and I managed to start the game and even finish it and then it crashed when the match was over.. I tried to open PS and it opens normally, but I'll have to see tomorrow when I work if it has some sort of issue. It's behaving like it was before becoming unusable, just a random crash sometimes. At this point I really think the nvidia driver is the problem. How can I downgrade even more?
  6. It reverted to 436.02 (I was on 436.15) I will quickly run through my programs to see if they crash
  7. lol It's literally 1 year old today. I will try tomorrow and let you know (It's 4am here)

  9. Thanks for the fast replies guys, I will let you know in case something goes wrong.
  10. Yup, it's a boot drive. Can I try to see if it works before doing a clean installation?
  11. I know this question might sound stupid to some of you, but I have a samsung 860 evo in a system and I want to put it in a new one I'm building. Do I just simply unplug it and put it in the new one and that's it? I'm worried that the programs could give errors when I try to open them.
  12. the 3900x is way out of my budget sadly, even though I could use its power a lot
  13. I had a part list of a computer I wanted to build a year ago and in that list there's a Ryzen 2700x. Should I spend 130€ more for a 3700x? is it worth it? I'll game heavily on it and also do a lot of Photo and Video Editing
  14. I had the Surface Go and it was really good, even though it was their "cheap" option. There's no other windows tablet/2 in 1 that doesn't suck except the surface lineup imo, idk why you hate it so much. The only thing I hate about Microsoft hardware is the price.
  15. Is it a good idea to pick up the base model surface book 2? It has a very convenient price right now on Amazon (999€). It will be an auxiliary device, I already have a pretty good desktop for gaming and working. I will probably use music production software on it and install Photoshop for quick edits on the go. At first I wanted to get a MacBook air but honestly the price is too high for what I'm getting, even though I always wanted to try out a Mac. Then I considered the iPad Pro but I don't want to feel limited by the OS. I'm open to suggestions, max 1200€ on amazon.it only because I have 500€ on my Amazon account to spend.
  16. I had a similar experience with my first Razer keyboard. 3 months of talking and emailing for nothing, the keyboard is still broken in my garage. NEVER buy from their website, I now buy their stuff on Amazon only, at least they care.
  17. I checked and everything looks in place, I will see if I can do something to hide that notification.
  18. Yeah it was really old and slow and lately it was slower than ever, and I always had problems with it. I have a question though, Windows is seeing my ssd as a removable drive now, I looked it up and it seems like it's a Mobo problem, but it shouldn't impact performance. Should I worry about it? I'm not seeing any performance issues, the only thing that bothers me is the "safely remove drive" notification.
  19. I should have said that before, I can only buy from amazon.it, so no second hand stuff unfortunately. I've seen a couple of RTX 2060 at like 370€ - 380€, I could eventually add something.
  20. I want to upgrade from my Asus Strix GTX1060 6GB to a 1660ti but I don't know which one is best, I'd go for Asus again but I wanted to hear your opinion first before buying. I have no space limitations or stuff like that. Oh and I have a 550W psu is it enough? I'm open to other GPU reccomendations, I can spend 360€ max.
  21. It did improve the loading times in some games like Insurgency Sandstorm which was unplayable for me before, because I had to wait 5-6 minutes for the map to load, now it takes 10 seconds. In other games I can see improvements but it's not so drastic. But even if it didn't change the game experience at all I would've upgraded anyway, my work is a lot smoother now and boot times are crazy fast like it takes 5 seconds. I know that for a lot of you guys it's normal but for a guy who had to wait 5 mins for his PC to boot and another two for the programs to load it's a lot. The ram should be delivered today, I'll keep you posted.
