  1. I have 128 ddr 5 kit already. only need this much because of unreal engine. I actually do like Z790 Dark Kingpin but does it actually support 13th gen
  2. Budget (I have no budget): Country: Canada This will be mostly be used for unreal engine development. I AAA game developer and trying to replace my old threadripper system. I have to be able to play any major games. but also looking for the best motherboard to pair with Intel Core i9-13900KS. 5. so what actually happen does the pc just turn off by itself or when you turn the pc on from cold boot
  6. does anyone have any better ideas for cases the case needs be able to be opened easily if we need access for what ever reason. our main OS is windows 10 due to the API we use that are only supported windows 10 for our visual studio build environment for our internal debug tool chain. and we prefer using latest windows for security we already have test benches for windows 7/8 and many different gpus we use to test our games as well PS4 and Xbox One which are our current target machine. Hey Linus maybe you could build us a machine and we can drive to you since we are only few hours away from you and film the project for your youtube channel.
  7. its not a problem for us its not the money our last build cost quite fair price already when we originally bought that machine last year was close top 5k including the shipping I just checked our amazon account last year we spent 6524.55 on the parts last year so we looking for something better so this current machine can be used by another dev while I need to build a new machine to replace my current machine at the office here in Canada. Kind regards Stephen Bishop
  8. this is not for personal use lol its our company machine. for upcoming new IP our current specs are ok but unreal engine and our custom tools are very demanding until we have packaged and baked everything etc the pc needs to work with current gen and be future proof for at least 5 years. I will be looking at previous posts and specs as well that have been posted.

  10. also how do the pins look for your ddr4 sticks and the board itself
  11. possibly have you tried clear cmos or and take the battery out and leave unplugged for about 10 mins while no battery or power to the board. what your board you are using as I might have another method
  12. also another issue which might prevent updating bios which should be disabled is intel secure bios feature I don't remember the exact name off hand but you will want to disable this if your board has this feature or similar
  13. do you have dual bios and have you enabled read and write, I had to fix a dual bios recently where I had to update the both bios chips and if the update has keep previous settings do not do that make sure it overwrites that as well. as I seen issues in the past with that feature which is present in some asus boards. Kind Regards Stephen
