  1. bummer... well thank you anyway for the knowledge
  2. My internet speed is 800 Mbps when hard wires into the xfinity modem. The goal I have is to hardwire both computers, smart tv, and gaming console into the network, but is there away to have max speed across all hardwire device at the same time. I notice my current network switch splits the speed amongst active devices. I feel this is possible and would like to know how and what ill need to do so. if not than oh well bummer...
  3. Key? my current pc is running win10. i mean i guess i could use the same key... but i cant just plug my old drive in and press go? i just wondering what will set back of using a pre-existing drive
  4. Hopefully this is the right thread page.. I am planing on upgrading my 6 year old rig to the semi modern era. Can i use my pre-existing C drive to boot up to new gear? or will i need to buy a new drive and buy win10 again... let me know if need more info...
  5. Sorry for delay AMD A10 6800k: yes I do use msi afterburner and i use the lighting fan controller too. the MB is a ASUS A88x Plus I made a noob mistake and sent you the vrm temp not the VRAM... But when it crashes again ill report that. I downloaded Who crashed and it found no dump files.
  6. ok so it just happened again, the cpu was below 50 and the Vram capped at 62
  7. I'll have to run and see what the VRAM get too. I have a cooler master V8 on the cpu, but again ill have to run it as see. I was a upgrade from 7 to 10
  8. no it does not. i have to manually shut off PC by holding the power button
  9. HI, I have an interesting problem and I believe it is the GPU (AMD 290x MSI Lighting) I begin playing a game, and I've watch its temperature on the screen, if it reaches 74c-77c the whole computer locks up. I made sure all the drivers are updated across the board, and I believe the thermal throttle limit for this card is in the 80s. The only game i can seem to play if i crank the fan speed up all the fan is Dead space 1. Its crashed on DOOM, Alien Iso and more, but was playing them fine a year ago. Plus I'll mention too I updated the OS to windows 10 in September, so last year it was Win 7 OS. Whats going on? Also hope I put this in correct section too... CPU: AMD A10 Richland (not over clock) RAM 16 GB 7 TB of storage GPU 290X MSI lighting (not over clock)
  10. I do have 2 monitors. I like that idea. ill have to give it a shot.
  11. I have a MSI R9 290x lighting as my main GPU. It replaced a ASUS R7 260x. Is there any advantage or something i can use that old card in conjunction with my Lighting?
  12. Hey guys, I'm not sure this was the right section on the forum to post this. But I have a question regardless. Details: I have a 128gb SSD Kingston that is my C drive. I have a total of 5tb of bulk HDD. My SSD is getting full, I tried hard not to load things on it and after 4 years, it seems to be almost full. So my Question is how can I remove all the stuff off that isn't boot related (because I don't know what is and isn't boot related) off to another drive? I have 2 other drives.
  13. Thank you. But i think i might need to make a more robust system. the hotspot strength in my apartment is pretty weak. I'm on the 3rd floor while the router is in the basement or first floor somewhere... I thought i would have to create a powerful receiver antenna (with a lot of gain) and aim it toward the hotspot router.
