Ah interesting, yeah I couldn't do anything with the "light under the motherboard" but it makes sense now I guess lol.

I'm guessing it was the power leds but the motherboard wasn't working so instead of staying on they just flashed for a moment

Check ram and cables that everything is connected properly, seated properly. Also clear CMOS.

When I go plug in the power supply there is a red flash under the motherboard

Start with clearing CMOS. Pull the battery out and unplug it from the wall. Then hold the power button down. Then plug it back in and try again.

What parts did you put in your PC? Past CMOS it's hard to give any suggestions without that.

I've tried that and nothings changed

The specs are in another comment

hopefully the power supply didn't break or something. Did you hit the power switch in the back and restart it that way?

Yes, since holding down the power button didn't work

Many part failures happen during the first few weeks of usage.

That said, difficult to say, could be ram not seated right or something.

Did you change anything in the bios like XMP?

    Also specs?

    Ryzen 5 3600

    Rtx 2060

    32gb of ram

    B550m aorus Pro

    Rm650x

I was rebuilding my pc and changed the motherboard to a new one

  6. Hello, so I built my pc and everything worked fine for 15 minutes then there was suddenly no audio or video output. And now when I start the pc all the fans spin at max rpm and I cannot switch off the pc by holding down the power button, what could be wrong?

It looks very similar to the Barrow style of the D5 they aren't considered to be a rebrand of the D5. A real D5 will have a stainless impeller and surround as the pump itself is also cooled by the fluid that flows through it, these are just the same form factor.

For the cost if you ware looking for a slightly more cost effective solution a low power DDC isn't a bad option.

The cost isn't an issue, I just don't want to pay more than I have to, I guess I'll just stick to the XSPC one

If it wasn't important, it wouldn't be there. This tape was probably there for two reasons:

    1. heat transfer

    2. full contact with the heatspreader itself, by having another piece of material that forms to the size it has to be

    Isopropyl alcohol.

I read that heat spreaders are superfluous on RAM nowadays and are mostly aesthetic so I removed them because I didn't like the look of them. I plan on making my own, can I use 3M double sided tape as the adhesive and thermal tape to replace the old one (do you know anywhere I can buy them from?) OR should I just use thermal tape and no tape?

the 58x/6xx massdrop exclusives are very very popular and always on backorder as a result. theyre probably the main products keeping that shitty site afloat lol. very easy to drive, i use my 6xx straight from an iphone 5c and it sounds great, no clipping or anything. the 58x should be slightly warmer (i use an equalizer to tone down the high end on my 6xx) and are probably the best in that price range.

unfortunately not, its a common misconception. there may be correlation between higher impadance and lower sensitivity but sensitivity is the important one. as an example, the 6xx's are identical to the 650 which is has a high impedance but are easy to drive, hence my running it off of a shit phone.

So why do people on reddit say that the HD650 are best when using an amp/dac?

Wait till you have them and see. They're pretty easy to drive

Am I correct when saying that the higher the ohms the more likely an amp would be needed?

  11. So I've had my AKG K550s for almost 6 years now and am looking for a replacement, the HD 58X Jubilee have good reviews and was wondering whether the Drop O2 Headphone Amplifier would be worth the extra cost? Or are there other headphones in the same price range that are better? Also do they ever go on sale? Thank you.

  12. Does it matter which end of the strip I attach to my motherboard, because I've got a strip with one end being male and the other female, and I can get an extension with one end being male and the other female, so I was wondering if I could connect this to the motherboard isntead of the strip, thank you.

    what about 2060 Super?

Not reference RX 5700 XT for god's sake, even if you're deaf extra cooling should help squeeze more performance out.

Do the 2070 and rx 5700 xt not both outperform the 2060 super
