  1. Why? Also, how big is the difference between 1440p and 4k? If so, which high end monitors you will recommend? also, 3440 x 1440 or 2560x1440? sorry for the amount of questions ;-;/
  2. Hi guys! I have a powerfull pc (specs in my profile) And this pc I can say that I can handle 4k (high or sometimes ultra settings) at 60 fps. It has a GTX 1080 Ti (from asus, non oc version) So, I've played with this pc in a 4k monitor from samsung (with freeSync) and Sometimes I get some screen tearing which makes my experience a little bit uncomfortable (of course, isn't a high end 4k monitor). Based on this experience I've decided to buy another 4k monitor with gsync, hopefully that would fix my screen tearing problem. In my options, I've the following list Acer Predator XB1 Series XB281HK bmiprz 28" TN 4K NVIDIA G-sync Asus ROG PG27AQ Black 27” 4K/UHD 3840X2160 IPS NVIDIA G-Sync Acer Predator XB271HK 27" 4K UHD IPS NVIDIA G-Sync Black/Red Gaming Monitor, 3840 x 2160 (4K) (source: Newegg) Those are my options and I'm here to see if I'm making the right choice or I'm failing. I accept every recommendation that you guys can give me like other 4k monitor, if gsync actually worth the extra price, change my resolution or whichever opinion that you can have. Thanks!

Holy shit NZXT is making motherboards. What's n…

NZXT's new motherboard seems a pretty good option for a clean set up but it doesn't quite reach the mark, but i think that it is a very good starting point
  4. Alright guys, It was a huge pleasure finding people that actually know what they are saying, I'm more that thankful with both of you <3 thanks!
  5. I'm amaze that to the fact that red team is gaining terrain again, well done!
  6. I've never hard about that, I'll try to investigate about it but it seems too bad to be true. I guess I'm too intel to know about it I guess that I'll try to avoid stock coolers but I'll take that in consideration if the cooler have a problem or some stuff like that
  7. I don't think that she would like to mess with oc so I guess that we are okay with it
  8. I'll take both of yours lists and gave her some surprises! Thanks to @herman mcpootis and to you @Energycore for the lists! I'm more than happy with it, I'm going to save them also, I asked a friend about amd heat problems and he said that they are in fact gone with the last gen but there's another problem that prevents the cpu to work in a stable way which means that they have to disable at least 8 cores (presumpltly 16 cant work aren't stable) in order to work properly, is that actually true?
  9. This one looks just great! But i've a problem do you think that I can change that amd to a Intel Core i5-8400? isn't a big price range but I'm thinking in the heat problems that the amd had in the past or it is just fine? also, don't worry about the case, I'm planning in buying it for her
  10. USA No OS, monitor and periphericals, I think that i can handle it
  11. Hi guys! I've a nice computer that I actually made thanks to this forum. The problem (or actually a good thing), a good friend of mine, wants to buy a pc around 1000$, I spoke to her and gave the same benefits that you guys told me that are better than buying a prebuilt, So, I'm back; looking for some advice for the best parts in that budget. Also, she's also jealous about my computer with the rgb (Using Asus Aura and NZXT cam to kind of sync between them) which means that she would like to add rgb to it and if it is customizable it would be way better! (btw, no, I'm not planning in adding a kraken x62 to her build, it would be too expensive and its also money that could be spent wisely in other parts so, no.) It seems hard to me because I don't have a lot of free time to spend looking thru guides and comparing parts but I'm here to see the recommendations from the experts I'll take the next 2 hours looking at some recommendations so feel free to suggest! (1000$ usd)
  12. Mostly gaming but I'll use it for productivity in the near future Games A lot of them including just cause 3 csgo dirt 4 dirt rally gta v ghost recon wildlands (Im buying it soon) overwatch (same as ^) a lot more but the list will be too long
  13. Hi there! Which resolution and monitor do you recommend for a computer that has a gtx 1080ti? I'm planning in expanding my setup with a new monitor I already saw some monitors with gsync, 4k, 3440 x 1440 and others "high end monitors" and to be honest, I'm pretty new to the topic Obviously I know what's 4k because I already have a 4k monitor but isn't a high end monitor, is only capable of 4k at 60hz (only display port) but I want an actual expert to help me with this Thanks!
  14. Hi there, I'm the owner of a powerful and beautiful gaming Rig. For some people, rgb is life, I'm not that close to that but we have to agree that it looks nice if we're able to put them correctly. I realized that I've an extra rgb pin in my motherboard (asus maximus IX) (I'm using one to the lights of my case)and I thought that adding rgb to my desk doesn't seems as a bad idea, so, my question is: Can I use that extra pin to add an extension from there to a rgb strip that's going to be under my desk? Does that going to work? if so, It'll be able to be Sync with Asus's aura? does it require any special strips or any strip attached to it would be just fine? Feel free to sugest! Extra: any triple A games out there that you would recommend? Thank you
  15. Well, that's impressive! Thanks! I will reconsider it
  16. So, whats's the actual difference between this two resolutions and refresh rates?

  18. I'm the owner of a gtx 1080ti and I'm thinking of buying a new monitor, I already have a 4k monitor but I was wondering if is better to keep myself in 4k with 60fps or go back to a 1440p monitor but with higher refresh rate. Thanks
  19. Upgrading requires more than just the processor and yep, at least than and In a year, there will be newer/better stuff
  20. I'll like performance Also, I just saw my mistake with the link you gave me, fixing this tomorrow, I really appreciate your help ^-^
  21. I'm used to way slower things than a 7700k so getting an actual 7700k is a reallly big step in my everyday life, also, I'll be upgrading this baby every year
