  1. Utterly gobsmacked by the fact, LTT could auction off a prototype of something that a start-up has worked off to create. What kind of greedy brain Linus has developed to do that to a small start up? Compensation or not, How could he think of doing that?. Never imagined i'd see this from Linus.
  2. i believe that's default supported speed but can support higher frequency with Oc just like you did. that's not problem rather boost slight performance.
  3. dont know your budget but kept close to your original. 4. is there possibility that you can wait or willing to get the build atm?
  5. my personal opinion to get 8400. correct me if I am wrong, for audio production you don't need that heavy cpu. Intel is more optimized in this case & faster IPC helps too. 6 core would be sweet spot. For AAA games, if you want hit high setting for next few years ahead consider gtx 1060. If you get 8400, you don't have to worry for higher speed memory much, rather I recommend to fit cheapest 16gb (2x 8gb kit) 2133mhz ram & maybe overclock them a bit. also normal ssd with bigger capacity as there wont be so huge speed difference.
  6. ahh that is true. price is totally different when go to link.. it seems pcpartpicker india don't have updated price list or I am not familiar what is the reason. I dont have anymore suggestion than maybe you will have to settle with gtx 1070. But maybe if there is way, try to purchase it from abroad & ship it there even if you have to spend few dollar in delivery.
  7. ah I am sorry mate, I am in dhaka & I know how things are here in this part of world. check it out here. 8. if your rendering is gpu based, get powerful gpu like 1080/1080ti & pair with ryzen 1600/1700 cpu. dont make build on usa pcpartpicker, it wouldn't match the price in your country at all.
  9. I just noticed now the cooler you selected that's aio exclusively for threadripper cpu, it wont be compatible with your cpu socket & would be waste of money. give a min, let me make a build on your budget.
  10. no, you are misinformed. 8700k has all core turbo nearly at 4.2ghz & single core 4.7ghz . if you are lucky you will be able to overclock to 5ghz without issue. 8700k is the best gaming chip exist in market right now. btw what resolution of your monitor & the water cooling kit you selected comes with with lga socket also?
  11. get some cheaper mouse/headphone from local shops by checking in person. 12. great, maybe check this ram, 2x8gb ram have better possibility of overclocking in ryzen. its lower price & CL 15 & higher speed rated. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/2skwrH/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3000c15r
  13. Yes am4 boards have more or less vrm issue as well. Get atx board & they are generally better specially Asus if its in budget, asrock is respectful choice as well. for am4, Asus & Asrock boards seem to working well & have adequate vrm. I would suggest these two specially https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fPDzK8/asus-prime-b350-plus-atx-am4-motherboard-prime-b350-plus & https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZHyxFT/asus-strix-b350-f-gaming-atx-am4-motherboard-strix-b350-f-gaming if you cant afford above two then consider Asrock B350 pro4 . but onething that i've learned about asrock board that they lack Load Line calibration (LLC) & SOC voltage which are essential features for stable overclocking. But yet alot have good experience. I hope you will make the right choice. Ps. if you dont know, ryzen don't have igpu, so a dedicated gpu is must to use the pc or wont be any display output. but I'm sure you have gpu already.
