Although they've done some strange things (i.e 'Mr Robot' incident), they're definitely a great organisation. If you don't feel 100%, I reccomend using Waterfox.

There's a difference between liking a brand and being a fanboy. Fanboys defend their favourite brand beyond the point where it is reasonable and contest irrefutable facts when they don't suit them. Bulldozer was flawed, that doesn't mean you need to be a fanboy to still buy it - as long as you don't lie to anyone else about what they'd be getting.

    Hey guys

My name is Paulo (or Pulyx as i am recognized around the tubes of the internet), i'm a brazilian ilustrator.
I wanted o post a thank you note to the people in the forum who have helped me out and the guys on the LTT channel.
I've been using computers since 94 (my first PC was an Intel 80286). And seriously doing it since 2003 when i started working professionally.
PCs were always something that i loved even with the little frustrations it causes us (bugs, crashes, parts going bad).
But it's the first time in these 22 years i felt i knew enough to assemble my PC on my own (i could pick the parts before but never felt comfortable to start one from scratch all by myself.)
Without the videos from the Channel (also Bitwit and Jayz2cents) and advice and support from you guys here at the forums, i wouldn't have known enough to do so.
And every time i panicked a bit and needed some support you were super quick, helpful and tolerant of my dumb shit.

    So thank you!
I discovered the channel a few months ago (February when i was really  sick and bed ridden for almost a month and a half)
LTT is probably my favorite channel on youtube (watching stuff with PC hardware is relaxing to me? lol) currently, and i think you guys are doing a tremendous job and i'm really happy for the success you guys enjoy and you are an example to other channels on all fronts. The production value, the personalities and honesty in the information you guys put out.
Hope you guys have a good one!
LTT and Forums, keep up the good work.

Although not bulletproof, you should try a VPN. However, for most of them -the good ones, at least- you've gotta pay.

Last time when there was the big bitcoin boom when it crashed amd ended up having to write down some money because of too much stock that can't sell.

Plus it's worth noting that it's possible that they're already at the absolute limits of how much stock can be made.

Not really, especially not AMD because HBM2 is really hard to get. If it was that simple don't you think they would be doing it?

They say "No" to money because AMD and NVidia would MUCH rather gamers buy their cards, who will review it, use them as intended, unintentionally advertise it (word of mouth) and for the most part, not rma it and cost partners money.

AMD and NVidia don't want miners buying these cards.

This is a very close minded argument. I dont know why a group of individuals should be punished that hard for doing something they believe could make them money just because it makes it harder for us gamers to get a GTX1060 or RX 580. What they're doing is completely legal and there is no malicious intent to starve us of GPU's. It sucks but be an adult and

it literally is their business when miners are costing them tons because miners destroy the cards and then RMA it..

When you get a new car/bike, you aren't suppoused to throttle it as fast as it goes. So if I buy a brand new Veyron, throttle it (and therefore break the engine) and return it, and make Bugatti pay for a new car, that's "none of their business"? Ofcourse it is, they are a business and they are losing money to idiots using the cards outside the intended purposes. My dad's 15,000$ EACH amplifiers CAN be used to play my guitar out of through daisy chaining, however if I did this i'd likely blow the amp. So is it fair if I did that, knowing it would blow the amp, then returned it to Macintosh  andmade them pay for it? No, it's not.

Professor Messer is another good one.  Though, his videos are aimed more at passing IT Certification Exams like the A+, Net +, Sec +, etc.

Like others have said, start putting search terms into YouTube and Google.  You can find some good channels with some hunting around.
