  1. I also here the Ryzen 3 will be released today, is this maybe going to better and in my budget over the Pentium?
  2. Been having a look around, apart from the obvious speed difference the g4560 seems to be a lot more popular than the g4600 which surprises me as the g4600 is obviously better, I think from the research that I have done anyway. Any advice on which one I should be getting?
  3. Thanks, would the other parts (psu, case etc) still work if I switched the mobo and cpu for the Asus Prime B250M-A and Pentium g4560? Also is this the link to the pentium as I cannot seem to find one officially on Amazon? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Pentium-G4560-3-5GHz-Processor/dp/B01N7U18M1/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1500650469&sr=8-2&keywords=pentium+g4560 Thanks
  4. So if I were eventually able to upgrade to core i3 or i5 I would be able to do so with the board suggested to me? https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-PRIME-B250M-Motherboard-Socket/dp/B01N2Y2GLP
  5. So you think intel dual core would be better than 4 cores with the AMD 860K? also I hate to be picky but I really enjoy building computers (I have built a few friends computers for them) and would hate to by something pre-assembled thanks
  6. Thanks, but there's not much in the region of second hand where I am (South-Coast UK) so I was thinking a 1060 3GB as it's a lot less money wise.
  7. I was specifically thinking of NVIDIA for this build as I would like to utilise some of the things that come with such as shadowplay
  8. A few thing that I left out, I am in the UK my budget is around £400-£440 I am upgrading because I am in need of a gaming pc after using an old computer for way too long. If more specs of the build are needed I will edit this comment. Again thanks in advance Forget my current pc, it's an all in one using laptop parts. The planned build was: AMD Athlon X4 860K Gtx 1050ti 4GB Corsair 450W PSU Thermaltake Veras H15 M 8GB Ram Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 And a 60GB SSD specifically for the OS as I already have a 2TB HDD I will be using 2x 1080p monitors for this build, I already have a keyboard, mouse and a copy of windows 10
  9. Hi, I have spent the best part of a few years saving up for a pc build the original build was an amd 860k paired with a gtx 750ti however when nvidia released its new cards I felt a 1050ti would be much better. I am now close to ordering parts and could probably afford to upgrade the 1050ti to a 1060 3gb. My question is although the CPU will bottleneck this card, by how much? would it still be worth upgrading the gpu? or should I stay with the 1050ti and upgrade cpu to 880k With money as the deciding factor it's either gtx 1060 upgrade or athlon 880k upgrade and a bit more ram Is this CPU still worth it in 2017, would intel be better? Many thanks in advance -Guy
