  1. So does someone actually know when these GPUs were available? Was it after the video was posted? Or was there a certain time during the day? I mean someone in the LTT circle could leak the time and url link to "friends" and at what time.
  2. I am at my wit's end here with this motherboard. So I have a Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP rev 1.0 motherboard. It was having a boot loop issue, and I was finally able to get it so it can go to the bios. But the only thing that I am able to save is the System Data and System Time. No other option can be changed. What will happen is when I make a change in the bios, it will exit the bios, and then turn off. It will turn back on again, and after like 2 seconds it will turn off. Then it will turn back on again, and when I go back into the bios, the change I made goes back to the previous setting. This motherboard doesn't have an OS or any drive installed. I just have CPU (with IGPU), cooler and memory. Would anyone have any ideas??
  3. Would I just run these commands in windows normally or do I need to go into safe mode with command prompt?
  4. Oh sorry I left that detail out. My D drive is not the one installed with windows. And my D drive is not setup as my boot drive. Even if I force my motherboard to boot off of the SSD, it still has an issue. I did notice that the SSD is listed twice.
  5. I ran into any issue yesterday. When I restart or after turning on after a shutdown; my pc is not able to get into windows and I get this error 0x0000225 screen. When I press "Enter to try again" it's able to get into windows and everything works. This happens every time I restart or shutdown and then turn on. After some troubleshooting, this happens only if my D drive (all my games are stored here) is connected to the motherboard. If I disconnect this drive, there are no issues getting into windows. Has anyone ever had an issue like this? My C drive contains the OS, and is set to boot from the C drive. Error Link
  6. Are you sure? Techpowerup doesn’t have the bios for my particular card but they do have the bioses for the dual fan versions. Mine is the single fan.
  7. I just recently bought a mining GTX 1060 6GB single fan variant. VCGGTX10606PB-SF TechPower doesn’t have the bios. I believe it was modded for mining and device manager gets a code 43. But GPUZ can’t detect memory speeds and etc.
  8. Has anyone here successfully flashed this particular model RX 470 to the respective RX 570 model?
  9. The previous owner had it in a mining rig. They lived close to the ocean and had it running in their garage. So it’s probably because the garage was humid. My friend told me that all of their graphics cards had some rusting on it. The card does work.
  10. So a buddy of mine just got a used graphics card and it looked like it had some rust on the bracket where the fans are attached to. As well as the screws that mount that bracket to the heatsink. No rust is on the heatsink. What should I use to clean this up? I know I'll have to help him take it apart, but can it be removed? See picture below.
  11. It does seem like I'm hosed with this drive. Too bad, I could have really used the storage.
  12. I can run gparted from a USB drive correct? Will gparted help with a way to deal with bad sectors such as just partitioning the bad sector?
  13. I want to just wipe the drive. I don't need anything off of it. What I have tried is I have used diskpart to clean, and create a new partition. But when I try to format it either quick or full format, I get the errors in the system event logs. How would I go about taking care of the bad sector? How would I go about getting around bitlocker?
  14. It looks like the drive may be encrypted by BitLocker. Also. Those errors occur when I try to format it.
